I have owned my blender for 6 months now and the blender cup sensor to allow the blender to run is failing. I have to hold the cup in place in order for the blender to work. I like drinking smoothies everyday, so would loom into other options for the price.

I am really sad because the smoothie side not working and I call the costumer service too many time and no body answer my calls.

I purchased this because the unit's base will use the blender or the bullet type smoothie container. Just as it says "Duo". I also read that the unit is very "LOUD"...if the units of those people who stated that theirs is loud and theirs is as loud as mine????...is understatement. They should have listed it as supersonic screaming! Mine vibrates pretty violently, still haven't determined if this is the way the unit is or there is a bearing out. However, it does mix very well, especially for skins like Cherries and pieces of pineapple. I can only give it 2 stars because of the loudness.

Best buy had the best pricing for this . My grand daughter loved it. Shipping was fast. Had to return it. She got 2.

I was so exited to finally purchase a ninja, a suitable blender for smoothies, chopping, pureeing, etc... Plugged it up straight out of the box and the smoothie button was malfunctioned. When you press the smoothie button the ninja reads ‘error’. I returned the order which was purchased online because they don’t have them available in the store. Very annoying, disappointing, and inconvenient.

This is my second ninja blender and I thought by upgrading it would last longer than the first one. The motor smells like it's burning when I use it and it's gotten extremely loud over time. Definitely what I expected from a Ninja product!

I just look where is mixer but I want to include mixer with blender I made my decide I return it I have other item

The first one we purchased we had to return as the locking mechanism didn't work so the blender would not work with the pitcher on it.

Such heavy duty equipment is overkill if your purpose is to make smoothies. I like the Bullet much better because I notice a huge difference in the consistencies of smoothies made with the Ninja vs. the Bullet. Smoothies made with the Ninja are way too grainy. Plus cleaning the Ninja is too laborious. I so wish I could return this overpriced pile of junk.
