This is the second Ninja we have owned. We use it every day and have loved the smoothies and healthy juices we have made with it. We won't own any other blender or juicer.

Absolutely love my Ninja! So easy to yes and clean. Can also live the option of either using the bullet for just one per, or the large blender cc for larger quantities!

I have never had a blender with such power! This is by far the best blender I personally have ever owned. The large 88oz pitcher is fantastic for making milkshakes, smoothies, and other frozen drinks for multiple people at one time. The quality of the actual pitcher is amazing, it is heavy and sturdy, the blades are super sharp, so be cautious when washing them. I use the personal cups practically every day to make breakfast smoothies, they are so easy to load and use. The blades and power of the motor do a wonderful job at blending ingredients together so even and smooth. The built in Auto-IQ buttons are nice and I use them for my morning smoothies. The large pitcher and the personal cups snap into the motor base very nicely and the motor unit will not come on unless they are snapped in properly. My only complaint is that the motor is so very loud and I can't stand to be too close to it when it is on, but loud motor seem to be the norm for all blenders I have used. Overall I really enjoy using the Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo Auto-iq and would recommend this to my friends and family.

My wife and I would be considered power users of blenders - if such a thing exists. We make protein shakes/smoothies on a daily basis. We make marinara and other sauces from scratch. And the occasional frozen adult beverage, because well...life :-) Suffice to say, any blender we own is going to get regular use. The Nutri Ninja BlendMax DUO comes with: A base/motor (duh) A large traditional looking pitcher Three smaller containers - similar to a cocktail shaker Three flip top lids to take your concoction on the go The blades for the pitcher and the small containers The first thing I noticed was the weight of the base. Unless Ninja filled it with rocks, this thing must have some serious power. The next thing about the base was there are suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place on your counter. The blender we were replacing didn't have these, I'm guessing the engineers decided they were a necessity. After using the Ninja, they are absolutely required. The first test - chop some ice cubes. I tossed 3 ice cubes in the smallest container and hit the pulse button. The Ninja sprang to life and with a single punch the ice cubes were pulverized into submission. Ok - next! In sticking with our normal use, I made a couple protein shakes with a banana for my wife and I. Water, protein powder, ice cubes and a banana. Our old blender would generally leave chunks of ice and/or banana. Without using the Auto-iQ technology, I let the Ninja go for a bit. One feature I liked, was the timer on the front so you know how long you've gone. I let it go for 10 seconds, which seemed about the same as what I would do with our old blender. The results? Perfect. Ok, let's test the Auto-iQ settings. We were making pizza sauce for Friday Night Pizza. The fresh tomatoes were quartered and tossed in the large canister. Using the puree and Auto-iQ presets and the Ninja went to work, adjusting it's speed based on whatever algorithms it uses. Personally, I felt it went longer than what was really needed, but the results were great. No leftover chunks in the sauce - just a nice smooth tomato sauce. Clean up is a breeze as everything comes apart easily. I really like the large pitcher and the way the blades slide out. I feel bad saying so many bad things about my other blender as it was a trusty companion for a number of years, but the Ninja has proven itself to be much better in just a week's time. I don't feel it's any louder than any other blender I've used. If it is, it's a small price to pay. In full disclosure, as a member of the Tech Insider Network, Best Buy sent me the Ninja for free in exchange for an honest review. After using it for a week, I'd gladly pay for one out of my own pocket. It really is a great piece of hardware.

I was a little apprehensive about this thing at first, as I thought it was trying to do too many things at once. After having used it for a few weeks I love it! The base is well made and heavy, there is obviously some wattage behind this thing. It does take up some space, but it's worth it. it won't fit under my counter with the full pitcher on it, but I can still blend with the smaller cups with it tucked away, and then slide it out to use the largest one. the display is a bit unnecessary, but the controls are large and easy to use. The white LED screen does look nice as well. The Auto IQ function works like you would if you stood there and pulsed a regular blender: pulse, wait, pulse, wait, pulse, wait, pulse for longer until fully blended. It gives the solid chunks a chance to fall down in again and get blended. I use this for smoothies way more than i expected. I was a little apprehensive about the largest pitcher being Acrylic and not glass, especially at this price point, but it's heavily made and feels plenty sturdy. The pitcher positively locks to the base and the lid positively locks to the top of the pitcher, so you know when everything is in place without touching much of it to start blending. i appreciated the little touch like the fact that the spout lid on the pitcher also locks in the flipped up position. The thickness of the pitcher does make a ledge for drippings to catch on, but this is pretty minor. the large pitcher also has a multi stage blade that looks pretty wicked, and does an amazing job of chopping ice/frozen solids. The smaller cups are smoothie/individual sized and lock into the center portion of the base and have their own screw in blade much like a bullet. I really appreciate that this thing eliminates one more kitchen appliance that I have to keep around to eat how I would like. Overall the materials are a little plasticky, but the build quality is high and this thing feels like it will last. it blends well and the different modes are well suited to doing it's job. the Auto IQ is perfect for most things you're trying to make, but are used to standing there and blending by hand with older machines. Taking one more thing off my counter is just the icing on the cake. I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a new blender.
