The Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo Auto-iq Boost is a powerhouse! It is more than just a smoothie maker, it is nearly a total replacement for your blender and stand mixer. It obliterates your ice and fruit for smoothies in seconds and knows exactly how long to run for the perfect blend. It made chocolate chip cookie mix like a breeze and they came out delicious. This is a must-have for anyone who want to simplify your kitchen gadgets or for those who have limited space on their counters. 3 smoothie makers in 2 different sizes, lids for easy drinking, blender top and 2 different blades, one for crushing/chopping, one for mixing. PROS - Raw power (1600w) - Multiple attachments - Strong Suction Cups hold the base firmly while in use - Easy to clear, nearly all is dishwasher safe (top rack) - Can replace multiple kitchen appliances in one compact unit - Not just for smoothies and energy drinks - Recipe book is helpful for using the maximum features - Intuitive technology CONS - Loud due to the power - Technology can be a little overwhelming for those used to the old button push versions of blenders - Can be pricy, but if you can afford this unit, it is worth it! Get one!

This is a nice blender. I'm guessing if you're looking at this blender, you're likely deciding between this and a Bullet. I have both with 1600 watts of power, and there are some notable differences. The primary weakness of the Bullet is the reliance on rubber gaskets. If the Bullet is even slightly over-filled, the pressure forces the gasket out of place to be eaten up in the blades. If this happens, it can be nearly impossible to find a replacement anywhere online. Even the manufacturer doesn't sell replacements. The Ninja avoids this issue in their design, making it far more reliable. The Ninja is also easier to use. Just put the container on the base, hit the button for "smoothie" and it's ready in about 1 minute. No need to stand there and pulse it yourself. If the other settings are as easy as smoothies, it will be an amazing machine, but I haven't tested everything as yet. The one place the Bullet is better is in making soups. The Bullet can also heat the contents to make a hot soup right out of the blender. This is not an option for the Ninja. All in all, this is a really nice blender thus far, and I look forward to testing it further.

I wanted to put this thing through the paces over the holidays then submit a review. Boy am I glad I did!! In short, the Ninja IQ took everything we threw at it and as much of it as we could give it with perfect operation and consistent high quality of output. Now for some details: Unboxing: This thing is VERY well packed in a sea of cardboard compartments. Once the 10ish minute unboxing is done you'll want to go over all of the parts. This thing has a HUGE main pitcher with 3 additional Nutri-NINJA single serve or small quantity cups as well. Everything is packed in tight but compartmentalized well so that there's no confusion about contents and the main pitcher is covered in several warning layers before getting to the sharp stuff. Once we were inboxed we washed everything up and put this guy to work. A few quick observations about functionality: - The AutoIQ works well, especially for crushed ice and smooth blends. There were some NYE drinks that were "best ever" thanks to our new Ninja. - The regular low/med/high settings seem to work well also but based on what I use a blender for, the IQ settings are best suited it seems. - This machine is noisy but no more than I'd expect from any other professional grade blending/crushing appliance in my home. The noise is smooth and doesn't sound like I'm destroying the machine with my every use so I'm confident that it's just the sound of power. - I really like the pour spout and the handle release on the lid. Having come from an el-cheapo blender but having used prograde blenders before, this seems sturdy and thoughtful. The handle and general structure of the removeable assembly is well engineered it seems, even when loaded down with heavy product. I did however have a few gripes that, while minor, are keeping me from a full 5-star review state: - At this price range, and at the top of Ninja/Shark's product line, the main pitcher should be glass, not clear plastic. While it seems to be a durable, hard plastic with a sturdy build and finish, glass would have ensured a premium feel and given just a bit more durability and noise reduction. - The gearing mechanism where torque and power are transferred from the base motor to the cup/pitcher blades are a two-mode bi-directional system designed to accommodate existing Nutri-NINJA compatible cups and blades, as well as our large 88oz pitcher. This is an interestingly geared system where the motor spins the NN and main rotors in two different directions during operation (assuming that the difference in blade design dictates this) which seems a little odd on the engineering front and could be a long-term durability issue. Also, these interlocking gears are made of plastic resin of some kind which seems to be holding up OK for the first few weeks of hard use, but come together with very thin teeth that could slip over time. Why did they stop using metal on these parts??? I understand when a $20 blender is all plastic but I struggle to forgive a $300 blender for the same. Potential premature wear concerns (potentially unfounded) aside, Is recommend this system to anyone looking for absolute Blend power and a high-grade appliance both in performance and looks.

It has very good power at 1600 watts., however my previous ninja had 1100 and I thought this one would be much better. For the money I'd buy the less expensive ninja.

This blender does everything you need it to. I love the large capacity and powerful motor. What I dislike is the build quality, but this is a trade off you must make if you want to save money without sacrificing performance. The axiom you get what you pay for applies here. Not to diminish this great appliance, but everything is build with plastic. I cannot stand the suction cup feet as it makes the blender harder to maneuver after you have set it down. If your counter is not covered by a cabinet or you do not move your appliances around much, this is a non-issue for you. The blades are sharp and cut through everything used to make shakes, smoothies, and crushed ice. I do however worry about it since the shaft the blades are attached to is made of some composite plastic. The controls are simple to use. There are presets for almost everything you would use and manual controls for those who want to do things on their own. The smaller single serve cups are great and will easily replace your NutriBullet. Everything is built solid, but again I stress the trade off is plastic. I own a professional blender, so I really wasn't wowed by this blender's performance since I have seen more. Needless to say this is a great blender for someone who has never experienced a higher costing blender. It does everything you will need it to and more. The versatility is the highest selling point. The ability to change from a large capacity container and go to a single serve without changing machines is priceless. The power is great, but the RPMs just can't compete with the higher costing blenders. It is aesthetically pleasing if you like chrome, I wish it was more like a matte stainless or similar. Hope this helps, this is a great blender to say the least. My final gripe is this thing is SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER LOUD!!! Don't use this in the morning to make a smoothie if your family is sleeping :)

Overall great powerful blender. The cup attachments blends anything I throw in it to make nice even consistency drinks. The blender attachment can crush frozen ingredients to a paste. Easy one touch presets that will handle most needs. Good: - powerful - presets get the job done with little hands on - cup attachments can be used with Nutri Bowl Duo Bad: - takes up decent amount of space - loud There's not much negatives to say about this blender. It has presets to make smoothies, frozen drinks, extract (for liquefying greens), crush, and puree along with 3 power settings. The bigger blender attachment may not crush as evenly as I like sometimes, but it's not major. It does get loud. The other minor thing I have with it is that I wished they would have made the attachments between this and the Nutri Bowl Duo compatible with each other. They have essentially the same base just with different locking mechanics. Overall I like it a lot and have been using it almost daily.

I've been using a similarly priced blender for about a year, and I'm using that experience to compare with this Ninja blender. [ Pros ] - The powerful motor and extractor blades together create finer smoothie blends than my other blender. - Less liquid seems to be required to properly mix solid ingredients than with my other blender. - The 88 oz container (that uses the stacked blades) is larger than other similarly priced blenders that I've used. - Nice selection of flexibile Auto-iQ programs (presets). - Nice safety features, such as requiring secure container and lid locks to function, and stopping the motor on detection of a jam. - The stacked blades crush ice exceptionally well. - Strong suction cups stabilize the base when in use. [ Cons ] - The stacked blades and extractor blades don't overlap much in functionality, but the extractor blades can only be used with the small tumblers while the stacked blades can only be used in the large container. Because the extractor blades need to be used for leafy greens and harder vegetables, I'm restricted to using the small tumblers for creating my smoothies. I have to go through four or five cycles, adding ingredients in between, just to fit in all of the ingredients I like to use for a single smoothie, when using a 24 oz tumbler. Because of this, I'm more inclined to use my other blender to create my smoothies. - The package I received came with an 18 oz tumbler and two 24 oz tumblers. I would have greatly preferred having a 32 oz tumbler (which is an accessory available for purchase) included instead of a second 24 oz tumbler. - I discovered the jam-detection feature when the extractor blades jammed while creating a smoothie containing red beets. My other blender never jammed up, even with red beets. - The base is harder to wipe clean than my other blender. [ Other ] - While this blender is somewhat better at grinding up small hard seeds than my other blender, it still does an insufficient job, such that I'll avoid using strawberries and blackberries when creating smoothies.

This Ninja blender was a big step up from the ones I've owned and used in the past, which is what I was expecting. So far, I've been able to use it to easily blend a variety of smoothies, shakes, and purees. I have not needed to stop blending to readjust the contents or anything of that sort which happened on occasion with my last one - this Ninja blender just works. Although the manual mentioned there might be consistency differences between using the Auto-IQ feature and not, I did not notice anything major. It seems to work well either way. The included alternate "pitcher" (really, a cup for a large personal serving) is also a nice accessory to come packaged If there is any downside, it's probably that it's fairly large and noisy. But of course, that's only natural considering how powerful this blender is.
