I have to admit that the very first thing I used this for was margaritas... I put a little more than I was supposed to in it, so my counter got a few splashes. It cut through ice very quickly. It will not turn on unless the blender is locked in and the lid is locked in, as well... Great Feature! Read the instructions, so you won't make the same mistake I did. The blender came well packaged, and it is extremely easy to clean. It is almost impossible to put things in the wrong place or use it incorrectly/unsafely. I'm looking forward to using our blender much more often.

The Ninja - Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo Auto-iq Boost 88-oz. Blender more than a basic juicer. I have been juicing for decades, but my homemade juice has never been as nutritious and whole as with the Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo Auto-iq Boost 88-oz. Blender. Every juicer that I used in the past has always had two depositories. One container for the actual juice to drink and the other container for the pulp that was to be discarded during cleanup. The Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo Auto-iq Boost 88-oz. Blender only has one container and within that container everything is liquidized to the consistency of your choice. You get the benefits of the whole fruit or vegetable that you wish the drink. There is no leftover pulp to be discarded. It allows you to make juice, smoothies, frozen drinks, extract, puree and crush ice. And with the IQ boost feature, you can control the thinness or thickness of your drink. You can even use the pulse button manually to determine your desired consistency. Instructions on usage are easy to understand and the Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo Auto-iq Boost 88-oz. Blender gives a blinking red light when it is not installed properly. It also gives an “err” message when the wrong container is inserted into its base. The motor base has suction cups to adhere it securely to a smooth counter top surface for stability. The ninja cups allow you to travel outside with your drink. Clean up is easy with warm water and soap. I am giving my two chamber juicer away and will be using the Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo Auto-iq Boost 88-oz. Blender from now on. I recommend using organic fruits and vegetables over fruits and vegetables farmed with pesticides, because the skin is liquefied into the drink. With a top of the line blender such as the Nutri Ninja Blendmax Duo Auto-iq Boost 88-oz. Blender, only the best ingredients should be used to maximize the full benefits of the drink.

This blender has been able to crush anything - ice, veggies, fruit. It will easily turn just ice into a powder with no chunks left anywhere. The mixing container that turns into a drinking cup is extremely handy. But, this thing is huge. It's taller than my stand mixer - so tall that it won't fit under my cabinets. Before buying, you might want to measure to see if it will fit wherever you plan to store it.

I have had a couple of different blenders in the past, and for most of my cooking I have to use a couple of different appliances. So when I received this blender and first started using it I was so Happy. I was able to put away many of my appliances and just use the blender to prepare my food. It is very easy to use and works great. It's also very easy to clean. I cannot recommend this blender enough.

I mainly use this blender for making smoothies every morning using frozen fruit and it comes out smooth every time. It's great for frozen drinks and crushing ice as well. I like that it's very easy to clean and it comes with 3 different blending cups/pitcher. I can't wait to try out some of the recipes included with the blender.

I love that I can make a smoothie in the same cup I use to blend it in. One less item to clean! Two sizes of blending cups are included so I can make exactly what I need so there is no waste. The Cups have measurement markings and a Maximum Liquid line so that the glass is not overfilled. Very sweet! On the front of the Ninja Blender unit is the control panel with multiple easy to read buttons. Leaving the Auto IQ Boost setting on seemed to always figure out what I was blending and made it perfect. Once the drink is mixed in one of the cups, you can screw on a Spout Lid and I found it comfortable to drink from. Awesome! If you want something bigger, use the monstrous 88oz pitcher. Perfect for when you are putting together a drink for multiple people. Since the unit has a massive 1600 watt engine, there isn't anything you can't crush up. Fruit, Vegetables, Ice. Throw it all in and let the Ninja blend it down. The cups, pitcher and blades are dishwasher safe so clean up was easy. Simply put, this is one stop shopping for your blending needs.

Did not realize what I was missing until I started using this Ninja. Of Course I had to first make a smoothie. I then moved on to a few of the recipes in the handy BlendMax booklet. This machine has a lot of power and choice options. I am not an expert but this machine makes it easy!

This is more than a blender and gives you an amazing food experience. The packaging was great and came with several accessories. This blender is very powerful and handle probably anything you can stuff in the pitcher. The preprogram features means it is ready for almost any exercise and will handle it with ease. All of the items come apart fairly easy making cleaning a sinch but does not have a cheap feel at all. While it has a sturdy build, the handles and pitcher are still easy to use. I was not particularly interested in the included recipes but you can pick up a smoothy mix at your local grocery store. I wanted a blender to make fruit smoothies and this should last my family many years. This is the blender for those who wanted a blender to use and be healthy, likewise it is just fun and the results are very tasty.

This "total crushing" blender is both powerful and easy to use. It comes with two attachable jars and one blade that works for those jars. It also comes with a very large pitcher and a the blade that works with it. A recipe book is included. The pros of this blender are many. It suctions firmly to the counter. The blade for the pitcher is stacked and able to blend all the food at once. There is a spout in the lid of the pitcher. It is extremely easy to clean. The button options are explained in the instructions, telling which foods are best to use with each function. It crushes ice to snow in just seconds. The negatives are few, but are still there. It is louder than a traditional blender. Not all of the functions will work with the jar. (The machine gives an error message, though, so one doesn't think the blender is broken.) Harder produce, such as carrots and apples, are not reduced to a pulp--this is not a juicer. (They are, however, chopped perfectly for use in recipes.) It is HUGE and doesn't fit well in a smallish kitchen. Overall, despite any complaints, this is an excellent blender. It excels at doing what a traditional blender does, and has added features that will make it an excellent addition to any kitchen.

This blender does everything for you. All I had to do was turn on the Auto IQ option and WOW! It has a countdown timer on it and so many options for smoothies, purees, etc. There are also suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place. The only thing that I didn't like was the noise. It's very powerful but unfortunately making pina coladas after 9pm in my apartment is a no-no.

This blender is awesome! It is very well made with quality construction that is readily apparent and is very attractive if you like your blender to set out. It's very powerful, easily handling whatever you put in it - it has a 1600 watt/2 HP motor. It's easy to assemble and very easy to clean. Most components are dishwasher safe. The unit is really two units - the large 88 oz pitcher with it's stack blade handles everything except extracting (extracting is blending everything that's tough and stringy - roots, stems, what-have-you, into usually a liquid, or dry as in cutting up nuts). Extracting is handled by the pro extractor blade unit, which screws onto one of the three other cups (two 24 oz cups & one 18 oz cup). Then you put that on the blender base to do the actual extracting. All this allows you to blend large amounts (up to 88 oz) or smaller amounts to take with you in one of the cups. Each cup has a sturdy lid that seals down with a drink spout that has a hinged lid for the spout to avoid spills.All blades on the two blade units are stainless and very, very sharp. Another thing that sets the Ninja apart is Duo Auto-iq Boost. While you can use the manual buttons: Low, Medium, High, Pulse, these each run steadily until you stop it, such as with any other blender. The Ninja offers pre-programmed sequences of pulsing, pausing, and running to do specific things such as make a Smoothie, Frozen Drink, Extract, Total Crush or Puree - that's the Auto-iq part. Each one has a button. The Boost part allows the blender to run faster for a smoother consistency or slower for a more coarse texture. You simply click on the Auto-iq Boost button to select Boost or no Boost before selecting Smoothie, Frozen Drink etc. I really like the Auto-iq feature because it blends specifically how you want it to. It has suction cups on the bottom of the blender so that it doesn't dance across your counter when running. It has a 30" cord to reach most receptacles. It also won't run until the cup or pitcher is turned to the lock position on the base. If using the 88 oz pitcher, it won't run until the lid is placed onto the pitcher and it is locked down - nice safety features. Also, the lid on the pitcher has a pour spout that can open allowing you to pour smaller amounts if needed without dumping the entire contents out of the pitcher by accident. The pitcher and cups are made of BPA Triton plastic so that nothing from them makes its way into your food. All in all, this is a very well made, well thought out blender with many uses for a large gathering or small one.

This is a top quality well built way to help you lead a healthier lifestyle. Just add fresh fruit, some yogurt, and even granola...hit the smoothie button and in less than a minute the best tasting healthy breakfast or in between meal you will ever have. Not only can you mix smoothies but this comes with the added bonus of an 88oz blender...frozen daiquiris are also a breeze and come out fantastic. Everything is made that much easier with the auto iq boost feature which is preprogrammed to give you the best texture and taste in your mixes.

We have owned many different blenders over the years, but generally they they can be difficult to clean. This blender with the different sized containers is great. We can pick just the size we need. Also, with the screw on covers, I can put the container in the fridge if we don't use it all. I use it to make crepe batter and then leave it overnight to use the next morning. My kids love to make smoothies with it. The one touch smoothie button works really well. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Nutri Ninja made a great mistake -- in my favor. In exchange for a review of the system, we received both the bowl and this blender system. In reality, they both operate in very similar fashion and produce great results. The specific buttons on the front of the base are an excellent, general guide as to how long and to what degree that food and drink should be mixed together, with plenty of ways to customize these experiences. As per my other review, you can't go wrong with these blenders.

We have been Ninja fans from the beginning. Now our family owns the most powerful Ninja to date including their largest container of 88oz. This model boasts of 1600 Watts of total crushing power. Get ready for a total body health revamp with endless smoothies, juices, and shakes. I was impress on how precise all the ingredients are perfectly crushed by the Duo Auto iq system. It is their proprietory technology and durability that keeps our health conscious family coming back for their products.

This simply pulverizes everything we've thrown at it. We mostly use blenders for smoothies, and with that we use frozen, not fresh fruit and ice. Previous blenders worked well enough, but you would always still have some chunks of ice or frozen fruit inside that were too big. It also hasn't stuttered or slowed at all while starting or throughout the blending. We've loved the results we've gotten from this unit. I would recommend it to anyone. It's worth every penny.

In our home, the blender is a very important kitchen appliance. We have a regular blender and a juicer, so when I saw the Ninja Blendmax Duo, I thought this would take care of both. We have made mixed drinks, smoothies and salsa with the Ninja and it did an awesome job of preparing all items, especially with the mixed drinks. When I tried the to juice my daily celery and cucumber in the large pitcher, the blender would not work because it is only programmed to work with the smaller container. I tried the smaller container and it didn't do a good job a juicing my celery and cucumber. This is the only reason why I give it 4 out of 5 stars. The blender has a great look with the chrome finish.

Cuts off in while operating Shows error the motor does not always engage the drive.

I wanted to make smoothies and bought a cheap blender which could hardly even crush the ice. This blender crushed frozen strawberries into "snow" with zero effort. It has a nice boost Auto IQ feature which slowly pulses to get the right amount of blending. There are many features on the blender which I haven't tried yet but I'll be excited to use. It's like 2 blenders in one & comes with an 88 oz. durable bpa free plastic pitcher with a spout lid, 2 personal take along cups, 18 & 24 oz with pop up lids. Suction cups on the bottom keep it secure while in use & comes apart easily for cleaning. There is a timer which shows countdown & a 20 recipe guide also included. This is not your grandmas blender, I love it & can't wait to try more features & recipes
