    Something has changed! this is my second. My first FINALLY started acting crazy after about 8 years, but this one seems hard to operate. I have to press down REAL hard multiple times to get it to work. I dont know... doesnt feel like the same.

    Bad o-ring design. The blender starts to smell like death after usage. The o ring allows food to get caught and cannot be cleaned appropriately, even if you take it out and soak it. There are no replacements. Ninja used to sell a whole new replacement blade but even that is no longer available. Do not buy. I regret it and now need to buy a different blender.
