That worked for many years. This one didn't even work for many months. It made great smoothies but in 5 months I can no longer use it. After a few uses it started smelling like burnt plastic after use. Last time I used it I had to carry it out into the garage because it was smoking and very hot. It left a burnt carbon ring on my granite countertop. Fortunately the counter was well sealed so I was able to get the burn ring out with no permanent marks. It is now a smelly paperweight in my garage. I wasted good money on this. Very disappointed.
