Nice coffee maker. Limited features, but who needs them really. Love that I can use with k cups too!

I was very intrigued to try this NutriBullet Brew Choice coffee maker. It makes, as the name states, it your choice to brew individual K Cups or a pot of coffee. There is one limitation that I will elaborate on more later in my review, but overall I am very impressed with the versatility and brewing capability of this cleverly designed coffee maker. Most importantly in either mode, It brews delicious tasting coffee. It is very easy to set up and operate. If you have used a coffee maker before, you know what to do. It comes with a K cup module and a traditional coffee filter module. The brewer senses which one has been inserted into it and will then display the appropriate digital controls. The display buttons are bright and easy to read. I really like that two washable filters are included, one for each brewing mode. This coffee maker has a nice appearance and will look great in any style kitchen. It feels constructed of quality components that should last quite awhile. One limitation that needs to be considered is that the K Cup brewing mode is somewhat slow compared to a Keurig brewer. If you have used a Keirig before you will notice the speed difference. The brew speed in K Cup mode is closer to the speed of a traditional drip brewer. This may be because this machine is a traditional drip brewer as well as a K Cup brewer. This is not a problem for me because I am usually not in that much of a hurry to have my coffee ready, but this might be a deal breaker for you if you prioritize brewing speed. But if you prioritize having a brewer that can make a carafe of coffee as well as a K Cup, then this NutriBullet Brew Choice is the coffee maker for you..

The NutriBullet Choice just took the top spot on our countertop as the new primary coffee machine in the house! How did it get there? Here's how: The product has an excellent small footprint, with water storage behind the carafe, lending it to a slender appearance. The water reservoir is large, but tucked away behind the coffee compartment and carafe, lending to a narrow, but deep overall stature. The highlighted feature of this system is that it doubles as both a FULL 12-cup coffee maker with NO compromises (and doesn't require those Keurig K-Cup carafe pods to make a full pot!). At the same time, if you're like my wife and I, many days we just need single cup convenience. Gone are the days where a separate pod-maker lined our kitchen counters - Now the NutriBullet Choice is the coffee maker to beat them all! The system comes with adapter parts to convert into a single-serve maker that works just like the major brands, but is such a simple machine - No complicated mechanics here. Just pop in a pod into the adapter basket above, set the single-cup stand over the pot warmer, and you've got a single-serve unit during the week, or a pot coffee maker on the weekends for those multi-cup Sunday mornings. Everything worked perfectly. The system recognizes the adapters and changes its single-dial menu options appropriately. It brewed a GREAT cup of coffee in both modes, and brews pretty quickly also. Only ONE complaint - And it's minor folks... I wish there were some way to keep the extra parts for the single-cup mode stored when not in use - When I make a pot, I don't want to lose that tray and pod adapter set. For now they go in a drawer, but when this thing becomes the RV coffee maker next fall, it might be more of a challenge to keep all of the components organized. In all I think this hits a sweet spot with many people who want Single-cup convenience, and access to a full 12-cup pot in one maker. Highly reccomended!

I have owned a couple of K-cup coffee makers and drip coffee makers but never one that combines both!!. I currently have a popular brand K-style coffee maker and am excited to transition to the Nutribullet! Unboxing & Physical Features: The Nutribullet comes extremely well packaged with thick boxing and Styrofoam inserts. Whether you are picking this up from the store or having it shipped, you won’t have any issues! The space saver design is great! A taller and narrower profile is perfect size for my use and space. At its tallest point it is less than 15 inches tall and fits with room to space under my cabinet space which is almost 18 inches. Setting up: Set up is simple and intuitive. Being used to my current coffee maker, my only moment of question was when I was looking for a filter and didn’t find one. Looks as if this is not necessary on this unit. I might suggest mentioning that somewhere in the product materials for those of us who are used to that! The manual and additional product materials are all clear and helpful. Use: Carafe There are 3 options: 6 cups, 9 cups or 12 cups. We used the Nutribullet’s filter. We also used the scooper that came with it which has the measurements inscribed on it to match the 3 options of 6 cups, 9 cups or 12 cups. Very cool! The coffee brewed quickly and quietly and the Nutribullet beeps when brewing is complete! Also, we initially brewed 6 cups and the reservoir was fully filled and it stayed at the proper level with water left over. The measurement recommendation for the grounds meets my taste and, most importantly… the coffee comes out nice and hot!! Pod There are 3 options - 6 oz, 8 oz or 10 oz. We used a standard one-use Pod at 8 oz. Just like the drip brewing, the coffee brewed very quickly and is nice and hot. The temperature seems hotter than my current coffeemaker.

Have to unplug and plug back in to work. Will not buy again.

I like that I have an option to make a cup of coffee or make coffee for everybody!

Didn’t work with k-cups correctly , it didn’t dispense water

When I first saw this I said "Sweet! I can replace the keurig and the large coffee pot that we have on the counter...move one to work and keep one as a spare." Then I realized that this coffee maker had a couple of glaring issues. Lets get to the positives: It looks really good. Sleek design that you would expect from Nutribullet. It's narrow and really doesn't take up a ton of space. It's a great idea combining the pod usage with a carafe all in one machine. It makes a good cup of coffee. Cons: The highest you can go up to when using a pod is 10oz. Why would you not raise that to 12oz like most other k-cup dispensers? When I told the wife about this, she was excited but when I told her about only being able to brew 10oz for her travel mug, she balked at replacing the keurig. I kind of agree with her. When I head to work, I want the largest amount of coffee that will fit in my travel mug. Most of the insulated mugs we have are 20oz...as with most travel mugs. I just don't understand the point of maxxing out at 10oz. The other con is, if you're going to put a clock on a coffee maker, why not put a timer on there so at the very least I can program a coffee to be made at a certain time. Just my thoughts. Given those two cons and the price of this, I think i'd have to pass on recommending this to anyone. I wanted to love it so much and it was so close to being perfect.

I love this! I can have just a cup using single serve basket or brew a whole pot if it’s a rough start to the morning. Options are good! This might be a preference on coffee taste but if using pre ground coffee I do recommend a filter for the whole pot because without I don’t feel like it tasted strong enough. Needs to slow down the flow of water through the grounds. Nonetheless, awesome that you can switch back and forth in seconds, use a k cup or turn the provided single serve basket into a k cup with your own fresh ground coffee which I find tastes so much fresher and is more aromatic than k cups. Super easy to use, super easy to clean, looks good, works great. Highly recommend!

It even 5 months old and have been having problems with it the last few weeks. It leaks from the bottom when the water container is halfway or full. Not a huge leak but constant, had to put it in a tray or only fill up with what we’ll use. It also has the sensors all messed up, it can’t tell when I have a cup or filling up the pot, have to unplug it it to reset daily forgot to work. Other thing is it doesn't keep the pot hot for too long, couple hrs max.

I was anxiously waiting for this to be delivered. It hasn't been 2 full months since delivered and though it is beautiful on the counter, it makes poor quality hot coffee. It is barely warm, not close to hot, after making. If you don't gulp your first cup down, within the first 10 minutes after brewing it will be cold for your second cup. I have to heat up in microwave. Ridiculous! Sorely disappointed in this Nutri Bullet purchase!!

The NutraBullet Brew Choice 12-Cup Coffee Maker and Carafe saves a little space on your counter if you want to have both a single brew and larger drip coffee. This system allows you to brew conventional drip coffee in 6, 9 or 12 cup volumes or you can make a 6, 8 or 10 oz single serving with K-Pods. It also comes with a reusable K-Pod. The coffee maker is pretty easy to set-up. It has a removable water container for convenient filling and cleaning. What isn't so easy is dealing with all of the other removable components that provide the coffeemaking flexibility. It has a lot of extra pieces that need to be stored somewhere. Additionally, it does not have a programming feature. It has a clock, but does not allow you to set it to start the brewer at a certain time.

I love that this NutriBullet coffee gives you the option to make a pot of coffee or just one cup! I can just have one coffee machine out….some days it’s just me and I make a cup with a pod or other days I have the family here and we need a 12 cup pot for the morning. The machine is super easy to use and switch from pod to carafe. I do notice that it puts off a lot of steam when making a single pod & gets my cabinets damp. Because of that I don’t use it in my under counter cabinet but rather out in the open. It’s slim design allows me to keep it on my countertop without taking up much space . I like having the water vessel on the backside and out of sight. One machine that does all I need & l’m happy with it!

I found this model to be very useful in all ways but it is missing one crucial yet not a deal breaker feature... a timer! While I thought the overall design and funcations very functional with a good size water reservior and ease of use operation... I just wish it had a timer to brew coffee in the morning by itself. JUST that ONE feature would make this model a complete slim design coffee/pod maker. It does make up points with the lack of timer by brewing the coffee at a good amount of time. Switching to K-Cups is a breeze too. For the price... I would definately recommend this unit. If you need a ready brew pot in the morning... check the model up from this one. Thanks.

NutriBullet - Brew Choice™ Pod + Carafe - Black Included- Unit base, 12 cup glass carafe, water reservoir, brew basket, pod holder, filter, removeable mug platform, coffee ground scoop, resuable pod, User guide, and Recipe guide The NutriBullet Brew Choice is great because you can brew wither with a K-cup or use a carafe. It gives you options so you can have enough coffee for either an individual serving or for a group. After unpacking, It's recommended to clean all of your brewing parts with warm soapy water. Now you're set for assembly and making some cofee. Pick which method you're brewing. If it's with a pod, put the K-cup into the pod holder into the top, add water to the reservoir, place a the removable mug platform on the heat plate or your travel mug without the platfrom. Choose your brew amount- eithter 6,8 or 10 oz by turning the knob to make your selection and press the knob to start. Within a few minutes you'll have some fresh hot coffee. If you're brewing with the carafe, then place the filter into the brew basket, add your grounds and place it in the top. The basket has to fit in a certain way, with the notch so the Nutribullet knows which method you're using. The top won't close if the basket isn't in properly. Fill the reservoir with water, put the carafe on the heat plate. Seclect which amount- either 6, 9 or 12 cups and press start. You will hear a beep to confirm the brewing is starting. And then it will beep again when the bewing is done. If you hear 3 beeps, it means there isn't enough water to finish the brew cycle and the display will flash H2O. There is some noise when the coffee pot starts brewing. There is a whirring sound, which isn't super loud but it is noticeable. One drawback is that the serving sizes are preset. I personally prefer the carafe so I make a pot but I wish I wasn't limited with the amounts. I also find that when I'm filling the reserovir with water from the carafe, the water doesn't completely empty out of the carafe due to the angle of pouring. The manual says to add water by removing the reservoir each time but I don't care for that. One pro is the sleek size of the unit. It's great if you're limited on counter space. I plan on sending this NutrilBullet with my son when he goes off to college next year. It's a great size for a dorm or apartment. It's about 15in tall and 7.5in wide. I really like that you can choose either brew choice too. It works well for different situations so as to not waste coffee and to have enough brewed when you need more.

The NutriBullet makes 6, 9, or 12 Cups in the glass pot or 6-, 8-, and 10-ounce single cup. The reusable coffee filter is replaced with a K-cup pod holder. The brewing time for the Pod is longer than on the other machine. All the controls are easy to use, it knows if you’re a pod or filter in it. There is a clock on the face, but this coffee maker is not programable. It makes a great pot of coffee, and it stays hot in the glass pot for hours. I would recommend the NutriBullet to family and friends.

This is the worst coffee maker we ever purchased. It leaked, never kept the coffee hot and it was truly a pain to switch out when making a single cup versus a pot.

While I like this coffeemaker, I wanted to love it. It makes great coffee, looks great on my counter, and cleared the space that was occupied by a Keurig and Mr Coffee. However, there are two issues that keep this from being a five star machine. The first is the lack of a brew timer. I can't imagine who, in Research & Development in 2021, thought that producing a coffeemaker without a brew timer at this price point was a good idea. Second is the short amount of time for keeping coffee hot. The hot plate switches off at 2 hours, and if you attempt to turn it back on to keep your coffee hot, if there's any water in the resevoir it will brew hot water into your pot. Other than these two quirks, I really do enjoy the machine. I'm just not sure if it's worth putting up with the lack of a brew timer to keep this on my counter.

The NutriBullet - Brew Choice Pod + Carafe Coffee Maker is a great combo coffee maker if you are like me and sometimes only want a single cup of coffee using a K-Cup, but at other times, want to brew a full pot. It is incredibly easy to setup and use and even easier to clean after use since all of the parts that require cleaning are dishwasher safe. I only have a couple of extremely minor complaints which really aren’t that big of a deal: First, the unit I received doesn’t quite sit perfectly flat. The feet don’t seem to be aligned properly from front to back so there is an ever so slight rocking motion that I notice whenever manipulating the machine. I don’t know if this is a design flaw or if it is unique to the machine I received. Either way, it really isn’t that big of a deal as it is certainly sturdy enough to stand up on its own and it doesn’t impact the main function of the coffee maker in any way. Second, when rotating the knob on the front of the machine to switch between the various brew sizes, the clicks as the knob is rotated are not precise and just feels weird. I’m not really sure how else to describe it but again, this is not a big deal as the knob functions and is able to switch the brew sizes as it is designed to do and to be honest, I don’t really change the setting very often anyways. I’m just a little concerned that based on the way it feels now, I may have problems with it in the future but hopefully that will not be the case. Besides these few minor issues, everything else about this coffee maker is fantastic. One other little thing to note is that despite having a clock on the face of the machine, this coffee maker is not programmable. In other words, you won’t be able to set a time for the coffee maker to automatically start brewing for example if you wanted to set it up before you go to bed so that you have fresh brewed coffee at a particular time the next morning. I wouldn’t use a feature like that anyways so this doesn’t really matter to me but it is important to note in case others are expecting this kind of feature based on the fact that a clock is present. Overall, I really like the NutriBullet - Brew Choice Pod + Carafe Coffee Maker and I highly recommend it!
