    Absolutely horrible product. Smelled like it was on fire from the beginning. Needed new parts after barley a year of very light use (not related to the electrical fire smell that never went away). It still worked so I couldn’t throw it away so I gave it to a thrift shop. Sorry to whoever probably payed $5 of their hard earned money on it. Customer service left lots to be desired at Best Buy and Nutribullet.

    This product smelled like an electrical fire the first time we used it. I thought it was just new and the smell would go away. After only a few months of light use it blew out a black powder on my wife. Best Buy’s customer service was very typical for any large company. They cannot do anything to help if you are just a little bit outside of their box of rules. Bad experience with the product, bad experience with Best Buy.

    Stopped working within 3 months

    My family has used a Nutribullet in the past. We had the old model for over 2 years and it stopped working. So we went ahead and bought this one. We knew something was wrong from the get-go. It made this really loud noise when blending and a few days ago it literally wouldn’t stop blending unless we completely unplugged it. Very dangerous. I wish they still had the old version which we loved.

    Flaking paint & poor Nutribullet customer service

    I purchased this product to make smoothies. It's used mostly on weekends - about 2x weekly. The first problem I had with it, was the actuator tabs became stuck and it was impossible to operate the unit. This needs to be maintained by scrubbing the actuator tabs with a toothbrush to keep them clear. I've never had that problem with any other blender. The second, larger problem, is part of the base is not metal, but painted with metallic paint. The piece that is the top of the base (it looks like a large ring) began chipping after just over a year of use. Tiny flakes of metallic paint fly off the blender when it's in use due to the vibration. The paint flakes go all over (i.e. on the kitchen counters, in the fruit basket, etc). I contacted Nutriliving who referred me to Product Support. Product Support said paint flakes blowing off the unit are a "cosmetic issue." I said it was clearly a food safety issue since it's impossible to keep paint flecks contained. The Product Support Specialist said it was safe because the paint was BPA free. So, in short, Nutriliving believes that ingesting BPA-free paint flakes is not a problem the company wants to fix.

    I exchanged my previous bullet because it was overheating. This one overheated the first time I made a smoothie. I’m going to return it and go with something else. Bummer.

    At first everything worked well but soon it turned out to be a horrible product, not reliable, and definitely not safe to use since I almost burned my hand twice due to it’s multiple malfunctions. Not worth it

    great blender if it were constructed better

    One month after purchase and we are having a problem with the blade assembly. The blades get dull very, very quickly. Once the blades get dull it is not, repeat not a good blender. The blades have difficulty with frozen items of any kind, ice, mangos, blueberries. This is not worth the money at all.

    After only 3 days of use, this NutriBullet stopped working. I looked online to troubleshoot it and tried cleaning the tabs (as many have mentioned) and it still won’t work. Returning unit to store for exchange. Hopefully, next one works better.
