Rock Solid for 1080 HD

With the recent price drop due to the 980 Ti, the value is also pretty good. Turn up the graphics options and play games with detail only available on PC.

For my 1920 x 1200 monitor, gaming it is thouroughly adequate and despite the speed difference between those cards, the money saved was enough to justify picking it up. The card is quiet, power efficient enough to run in a Dell xps420 w/1 6pin power cable. I notice a difference from my 7870 even in games like civ 5 when scrolling around large maps with graphics maxed, and of course Witcher 3 rums much better

great graphics card for a good price

I like to game on three monitors in surround at 5760x1080. the Nvidia GTX970 cards make my monitors come to life. the picture is amazing. I have never had any problems. I would highly recommend the GTX970 to anyone.

Great card for newer games!

My son games on this computer and has a wide range of games old and new. As I stated in other reviews, I have determined that you need a good Passmark 06 score to run older games like Minecraft. Although this card screams with games like Evolve, it lags with older games with simple graphics. I stuck this card in my computer and am very happy with it. For my son I purchased a new old stock EVGA GTX 780 SC. Seems to have better overall performance.
