Great Graphics Card

Great Option for High-End Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card shipped on-time and I received it in excellent quality. The card is one of the absolute best price per performance video cards on the market right now. It handles everything I can throw at it at the highest settings and regularly maintains 120 fps on a 1080p resolution monitor. I have even run newer games on my 4k television and it can maintain a pretty solid 60 fps at the highest settings. It's probably not worth an upgrade if you are running on an NVIDIA 10xx series as the increases are not extraordinary. However, for someone new to the high-end PC gaming market I believe that this card is the best option around.

Tried and True
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was quite lucky to snag a brand new GPU via Best Buy recently. I thought it would be easier with the NVIDIA RTX 30-series being released within the last month or so, but it was quite the opposite. The GPU works well within my NZXT H1 Mini-ITX tower, providing very smooth graphics and fidelity. While my case may cause it to dance around the 70ºC mark on intensive games, the card is a trooper, and stays strong despite the efforts. I have not overclocked, but plenty of other folks have tried successfully, as well as water-cooled. Despite newer RTX30 series cards, this one is quite reliable and ready to go!

This card is a beast!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The RTX 2070 super is an amazing gpu especially for the price. While it doesn’t have any fancy after market cooler, this Founders Edition card has a great aesthetic and the cooling is actually exceptional. Since the NVIDIA GPUs are a better bin quality than an aftermarket card such as from EVGA, they are able to over click higher than others, and mine had a great overclock, with a 15-20 FPS gain in most of my games. It’s a great card for 1080p 144hz gaming, and if you’re looking for 1440p 70-90hz gaming then it’s a great card for that too. I would 100% recommend this card to anyone in the market for a new GPU.

Best bang for your buck!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This graphic card is awesome especially for the price. The $200 price difference between the 2070 and 2080 is not worth it in terms of performance. Get this card now!

Good Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is pretty good for gaming. Honestly if you’re thinking about getting this or a 30 series just get this because the 30 series isn’t going to be available until 2021 at the earliest. If you’re attempting to get the rtx 3070 tomorrow good luck but it’s futile. The bots will snatch them up in .00000001 seconds. Your best bet is to buy a 2070s and maybe you’ll be able to snag a 3070 by the year 2077, the same year that cyberpunk will be released.

Best value Nvidia Founders Edition GPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was going to get the 2060 Super as a hold-over until the new generation of cards comes out, but BestBuy happened to restock the 2070 Super right as I was buying. I took a chance and spent the extra $100 to upgrade and I'm glad I did. Plays every game I've tried (RDR2, CoD MW, Titanfall 2, Rocket League etc) at close to the highest settings with a minimum of 60FPS. I personally prefer the aesthetics of the Founder's Edition cards and I have had no problems with overheating (never gone above 73C gaming). Also runs Solidworks (including photoview 360) flawlessly.

Doesn't Hold Up at 1440p in 2021
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a refresh of the 2070, featuring higher performance, but unfortunately, it does not hold up to modern titles at 1440p. You can expect fps in the 80-90s for open world games at medium settings, and roughly 120-130 for first-person shooters. If you want a 144 fps 1440p GPU, this is not a card I would look into. It would be fine for 144 fps 1080p and 1440p 60+ fps though. Also it gets really loud because the cooler isn't that good so you'll probably want to set a custom fan curve.

Great alternative to a 2080
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.pretty much just as powerful as a non-TI 2080. Using it for VR, works excellently. Temps are well within acceptable ranges even under full load.

Beautiful card. Great graphics
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been buying the nvidia founders cards for they have always been reliable and never have me problems unlike the asus card I purchased once. The cards are beautiful and will look good in any case. The performance can't be beat for the price. I really can't think of anything negative to write about. The performance I've gotten when playing games in 1440 and 1080p rock solid. Haven't tried 4k yet but I'm sure it looks fantastic. f you are looking for a new card go with this over a 2060 or even a regular 2070 you won't be disappointed

Well worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This. I don't really know what to say about it other than it has absolutely out performed my expectations by miles. The gaming graphics and VR capabilities is astonishing. I have absolutely thrown everything I could at this GPU and it didn't even break a sweat. On games where I had to lower settings to run on my old GPU I can now run at the highest settings and I can see everything. I am kind of mad at myself for not making this purchase sooner. Absolutely well worth the money. A review you can trust by Brainhalfcooked
