Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti's exceptional performance, high frame rates, and stunning visuals, especially at 4K resolution. Many appreciate its excellent build quality and the impressive ray tracing capabilities, although some find the cooling system inadequate and the price high. Positive feedback focuses on the card's ability to handle demanding games and applications smoothly. However, potential buyers should carefully consider the cost and cooling performance before purchasing.

Great product- at a cost.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This GPU is no doubt the best consumer GPU available ever. The closer you get towards the top tier of performance though the more the price increases exponentially while performance does not increase nearly as much. This is not Nvidia's fault entirely as the cost to manufacture goes up as well. Even with this there are a few things they could have done to lessen the gap between the performance and the price, for example if they had a big warning label in the box that told you not to daisy-chain the power connectors for it instead of forcibly limiting the power draw of the card when it can handle more.

Best graphic card but should be at a lower price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an older system i7 5820k at 4.2gh with 16gb at 2.6gh and as 750 watts gold rated power supply which is bushing its limit high score 11600 points results any overclocking on the video card when I overclock the cards I get 12800 points but I have to run the fans High and loud and it still gets over 80 degrees while gaming.. i am still waiting for the i9 9900k to finish my new system that should not bottlenecking this video card.. Okay so this is the best video card out there we've all read the reviews and benchmarks and we are all complaining about the same thing that price.. even though some of us are willing to spend that much but honestly once any competition is in the market that is at the same performance I will definitely leave the Green Team as a lot of us feel the same way after Nvidia pricing for the new card.. Oh and it's also very noisy if it runs hot while using it. So it's overpriced card that doesn't even have good Cooling only good-looking cooling that's what they were after to make it look like an expensive card that is worse $1,200. Looks and feel good quality though fails at efficient and quiet Cooling..

Love it or Hate it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."If you hate it you either like the inferior AMD or enjoy pretending with cardboard money" - My game design professor There has been no middle ground when your mouth sounds the words "2080 Ti". It's either, "Oh the new GPU?" Or the screeches of the money-less about how it's 'too much' for their wallets. It's not only the first iteration of a new GPU series with brand new gen of GDDR Mem and entirely new VRM layout; it's redesigned completely. While it's not worth the price if you're going to play < 2K resolution it's a powerhouse at anything 4K Max related. It can eat HDR like it's nothing and push frame-rates I never thought possible at extreme settings. Since my boyfriend has a 8700K machine with 2 1080Ti's I'll be putting this together into a different build with a 9900K once those are shipped at a normal price. Love it or hate it, you can't stop it from being an absolute unit of a graphics card.

Beast of a card if you're willing to dish it out.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card, upgraded from my 1080 founders edition to this which, I know to some may seem a lil crazy but now I get maximum performance everywhere. Also it keeps way cooler than the last one on heavier loads and everything but its almost a pound heavier while keeping the same dimensions as the last FE cards so dont let it sag!. Will update if something happens to it but I doubt it. I recommend this card but also dont cuz its super expensive, try to get it on sale maybe?

Best consumer card for now
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get all the hate based on the price. TBH, I think most people were disappointed with the improvements over the 1080TI. That being said, this card offers 20-25% frame rate increases over the 1080TI. Maybe not as much as people were wanting but still the best available to people like me. Cost is relative, and I'm not going to argue that it's expensive. You have to decide if it's worth it to you.

Awesome, crushes my current content without issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great but maybe too great. Most of the negative is from people about price, remember this is enthusiast grade. If it is too much then you are not the target audience with this card. Great for doing VR and 1440p gaming, still struggles with 4k but that is understandable, hopefully with new drivers and optimizations later on this will be resolved.

Read Full Review for Score Explanation!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK! Let's get this out of the way: There is *nothing* wrong with the build quality of the GPU itself. It's a standard Nvidia Founder's Edition (FE) GPU, which is also available directly from their website. Historically, all FE GPUs are excellent in terms of performance and reliability. You really can't go wrong with any of them, whether you're getting a 2080, 1080, 1070, etc. If you want the BEST of the BEST and have money to burn, this is the GPU for you. Period. It will run 4K gaming setups while it's cooking dinner for the kids AND taking the wife out shopping. Nvidia has taken their Turing GPU architecture and combined it with the updated GDDR6 VRAM to establish an incredibly quick and powerful video card, not to mention the addition of ray tracing units, which are dedicated to real-time ray tracing and performance enhancement. So, again! If you absolutely need the best video card on the market, this is going to be your solution. Now, why did I give it only 3 stars? Simple: ***This GPU is not worth the money in any way, shape, or form for the current generation of video games available.*** Previously, Nvidia would release their flagship X80 Ti GPU (780 Ti, 980 Ti, 1080 Ti, etc.), with each generation being much more powerful than the previous, giving up to a 40% increase in performance between generations. The average cost of a flagship model upon release has been around $750-800USD, unless you purchased a more expensive model with additional bells and whistles, such as enclosed liquid cooling, overclocking, etc. The last iteration of this was the powerful 1080 Ti, which was approximately $700-750USD for a founder's edition version. What performance difference is there between a 1080 Ti and a 2080 Ti in 99% of all real-world testing? About 28%. $1200USD versus $699USD - That's about a 60% cost hike to obtain that 28% performance gain. For most gamers it's simply not worth the cost. The 1080 Ti will still play almost any triple-A title at 60FPS without a sweat, 4K included. Base 1080 GTX video cards are going on sale in many places for under $450USD, which is still a very powerful GPU capable of playing most games at ultra settings at the point in time, and is a much better deal for end user. CONCLUSION: If you need the best and have too much money in your wallet, this is your GPU. In all other cases, I recommend purchasing the previous generation, as the price versus performance increase is not reasonable at this point in time.

Great tool for the next level enthusiasts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nvidia has already introduced a powerful video card RTX 2080 which will be more than enough for 1080p RTX 2080Ti is even more powerful video booster which is intended for 4k

Failed in less than 24 hours
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made a 200 mile round trip to pick up this card as BB wouldn't ship it at that time. I installed it without any issues. The card ran great although a bit too warm for my liking. the first few hours of ownership were great and i was playing lots of games a 4k/60fps ultra/high settings. The next day it wouldn't load some games and would artifact/glitch and crash. I went to RMA through Nvidia but decided to return instead. Best Buy wouldn't return the 10% off coupon I used to purchase the card.

Failed in less than two days!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected more quality for $1199, but this card failed in less than two days. It started black screening tonight and now does it under moderate load even when just watching movies and not doing any 3d rendering. Hopefully Best Buy can swap another card out as I did like its performance when it was working. 4k gaming at 60Hz on a big screen TV is really nice too, but comes with a premium. Far better value than Titan (which is also overpriced IMHO).

No Battlefield V and Anthem in the bundle!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this video card from Best Buy (delivered via Google Express today). However, the Battlefield V and Anthem download codes were not included in the box, nor were they emailed to me. Google Express customer support told me that the product "was listed incorrectly" and they "highly suggest to return the item for a refund". This is not an ideal experience buying a $1300 video card. Also, the video card was sent in a flimsy box with very minimum padding - not cool at all.
