Not a potent 4k card

If you are buying it for the first time from gtx 1080 gen, it maybe worth upgrading but if you have rx 5700 xt era cards, look for something higher than this

Retiring a GTX 970

The 12 pin connector is in a rather odd location and while it doesn't really bother me, the cable may be a little ugly to some. Plenty of OC headroom. If overclocking, be mindful of the error correction memory. Going too high with mem oc may seem to work fine, but could result in lost performance.

More science, less power

I bought this card to replace four GTX 1650s and one GTX 750 Ti. It's been crunching 24/7 since I got it home. Temps are stable at around 78C, as is power at ~195W. It does more work than those five older cards put together, and uses only 2/3 the power they did. Fantastic.

It works great and had plenty of power tell I upgraded to a ultrawide 3440 x 1440p 144 monitor with maxed out settings. You'll definitely see a drop in fps. Any monitor under that this card would be over kill.
