Customers are saying
Customers recognize the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti's excellent performance and competitive price, frequently praising its ability to handle high resolutions. However, some users report higher-than-expected temperatures and power consumption, along with occasional noise issues. A few also mentioned concerns about coil whine and the card's size. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and value outweighs the negative comments regarding its thermal and acoustic characteristics.

Excellent Card, Excellent Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Put this into HP Omen 30L with an AMD 3600 Ryzen and I get consistent 157+fps in Apex Legends with default video settings with G-Sync on a HP Omen 27” 165hz 2560x1440 monitor. No upgrade to power supply. It just works. First boot did not do anything. Do not know what that was about. Second boot was fine. Using Windows 11 and had to download the driver on my own. Computer doesn’t get loud, does not seem to break a sweat at all running Alex Legends like this.

Great card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Camped outside for this. Was cheaper than my 3070 xc3 ultra and better at the same time so can’t complain.

Bit of a whiner
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've noticed quite a bit of loud coil whine at higher frame rates (90+). Other than that it performs how you'd expect it to. Great mid range card that can run most modern games at ultra settings at an acceptable frame rate. Mine is paired with a 5800x

8GB just isn't enough for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could have gotten a 3080 for $100 more, I obviously would have gone with that. If I could have gotten a 3070 for $100 less, I would have done that. I might have even got a 3060ti as a placeholder and saved a bit of cash for next gen. But this is what was available and faster Vram doesn't matter if you're running out. And it certainly isn't worth the increase in price compared to a 3070. Granted my main problem comes from VR, which wont matter to most interested in this card. But for example, when playing "No Man Sky" in VR, if I use the Medium present (aka: Enhanced) I will have stuttering. So I have to lean into the Low settings if I want a mostly smooth experience. Even then I'm cruising at around 7.5GB of used ram, so there are still occasions when it will spike and stutter, which is not fun in VR. On a flat screen I only use 4.5 GB at those settings. But to spend twice as much as I did on my 5600xt 6GB last year and still be limited to Low-Medium Settings because of a lack of vram is more than a little annoying. Secondly, I'm learning Blender which was the main reason I replaced my 5600xt and got a card with Optix and slightly more ram. But while much faster at rendering and fewer crashes than my previous card, I don't feel like that 2GB more is really going to give my renders that much more room to breath as I attempt more complicated renders. In short, the 3070ti feel like a product from a company that knows it can milk it's customers. And while it is an impressive card when gaming on a monitor, it isn't more impressive than it has to be. It's frustrating to know that a brand new $600 card is already obsolete for some of my purposes. If I'd gotten from somewhere other than Best Buy and paid $800-1000, I'd be a bit more grumpy. But as is, I'm content with the purchase, but am more restricted on my use than I'd hoped. If I wasn't interested in rendering, I would have gone with AMD cards with 12 or 16GB.

Fantastic Graphics card if you can get it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 3070 ti is fantastic card and I got it out of necessity, however, the 3080 is a far greater bang for your buck. The fps difference between these two cards is huge for only an extra 100 bucks. But, I'm still happy I finally got my hands on 3000 series.
