Customers are saying

Customers recognize the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti's excellent performance and competitive price, frequently praising its ability to handle high resolutions. However, some users report higher-than-expected temperatures and power consumption, along with occasional noise issues. A few also mentioned concerns about coil whine and the card's size. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and value outweighs the negative comments regarding its thermal and acoustic characteristics.

Not the best value as far as GPUs go, but if you're lucky enough to get one that won't really matter

It is okay, I wish I would have waited. I bought two one for me and one for my nephew and even in opened with a receipt they would not let me return it. I would have ended up spending more money.

Not a fan of this GPU due to price/performance compared to a regular 3070 and 3080. Does the job, but nothing extraordinary.

Excellent card (under these market conditions)

I got this about 6 weeks ago at the camp out event. This is a fantastic card, at least under these market conditions. Works perfectly with my 7700K, ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING and EVGA 650w GQ PSU. Without undervolting, I ran pretty hot (83C) and consumed about 280W. After, it ran at 78C and consumed much less power at 220W. After a while, I switched the performance tuning in GeForce Experience where you can set a power limit and target temp. It will apply the necessary overclock without exceeding those specifications. It allowed me to get some more power out of an already powerful card. How's the performance? Fantastic. I have spent a lot of time with the card and although my CPU definitely bottlenecks my GPU, it works flawlessly and even better than my 1080p. Anything that was released before 2018 can run at 4K max settings at 60+ fps. Even newer games run great. Forza Horizon 5 works very well at high/ultra settings at 4K with an average above 60fps. Cyberpunk 2077 didn't run as well as I hoped (version 1.3), but I could achieve 60fps at Ultra with DLSS Balanced. With RT on, I needed to turn down the settings but I could still get 60fps. Minecraft with RTX worked at 4K but you will need to turn some settings down to achieve 60fps. Overall, it is a fantastic card and will run anything you throw at it. If you can get your hands on it at MSRP, don't hesitate. You won't regret it.

Don't buy a GPU from best buy. The staff knows nothing about the products they are selling and the stores have become a dumping ground for defective products from all of the major electronics manufacturers..... On a good note they will accept pretty much any return because they probably assume it was broken when you bought it.
