Customers recognize the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti's excellent performance and competitive price, frequently praising its ability to handle high resolutions. However, some users report higher-than-expected temperatures and power consumption, along with occasional noise issues. A few also mentioned concerns about coil whine and the card's size. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and value outweighs the negative comments regarding its thermal and acoustic characteristics.

Had to jump on this when prices finally came back down to earth. The Ti version uses DDR6X RAM which has a decent performance boost, but runs a but hotter. Not much of an overall performance boost over the 3070, so not worth the upgrade if you own a non-Ti 3070. I’m more than happy with this GPU running games at 1440p, and a few AAA titles at 4K.

I upgraded to a new PC back in March from a GTX 970 and tried and waited for a new card. I originally wanted an RTX 3080 but had to settle for this, but it is still a monster of an upgrade I got. This GPU shreds anything I throw at it from games to 3D animation. The MSRP is questionable compared to the price to performance of a regular RTX 3070, but it is still a great upgrade from my previous card.

One of the best graphics cards you can get right now, and Best Buy has a good stock of new ones at MSRP, making a lower price-to-performance kne of the highest among the used and overpriced GPUs flooding the market. Massive improvemet over the 1070 I upgraded from.
It is really worth waiting until you can get a new GPU at MSRP or lower!

Not sure why this GPU gets a lot of hate. Runs 1440p at high settings with no problem. Wish the price was cheaper but overall a great option. With the launch of 40 series you are better of going for those at this point for the price.

In summary, the GeForce RTX 3070 is not able to fill the huge gap between the GeForce RTX 3070 and RTX 3080, it is still far too close to the supposedly smaller card for that, but the bottom line is that it is the more sensible product. The installed GDDR6X memory including its higher bandwidth isn’t even close to being needed in any situation and in return it’s a nasty driver in terms of power consumption with its well over 20 watts more power consumption.
The simple GDDR6 would have easily been enough for the actually needed bandwidths and the rather meager 8 GB memory expansion could have been easily forgotten with 2 GB modules. Then you could have brought a much more rounded product to the market, which an ambitious gamer would surely have forgiven the increased power consumption. Whether it was due to the exclusive GDDR6X deal with Micron and the general lack of “normal” GDDR6 memory also remains to be seen. A slimmed down GA102 would have made a lot more sense as a true gap filler than this extremely squeezed out full build.

1440 144hz gaming BEAST. I run two 1080 monitors with it as well for hardware monitoring and watching sports/streams while gaming. Handles it all with no problem. Temps in my case have gotten quite a bit warmer but nothing that the system and cracking a window can’t handle.

scored one of these at MSRP this morning. Great card. Runs a little warmer than the 3070, but you get 10% perf boost. Card is gorgeous. Forza 7 7680x1440 160fps. Finally can build a ground up system around this.

The Ti hits a sweet spot for 1440p gaming, boasting smooth visuals and AI-powered DLSS boosts. Ray tracing shines, but 8GB VRAM might hold it back in future titles. Pricey too, so consider the 3080 if budget allows.
Pros:
1440p Performance Champ
DLSS Boosts Frames
Ray Tracing Ready
Cool & Quiet
Cons:
8GB VRAM: Futureproof?
Pricey Compared to 3080
Stock Shortages Linger
Verdict:
1440p gamers rejoice, but weigh the VRAM and price against the 3080 before committing.
3 stars for high pricing

This card is just beautiful. Build quality is amazing, and I love this thing. I’m sure the amount of effort that was put into acquiring it makes me appreciate it even more. Not sure if it is worth it over a 3070 (if you can get one), but if you have the chance for this, just do it. Now I need to upgrade my 2600x cpu to get rid of the bad bottleneck.

I managed to get it at MSRP when every other 3070ti was going for $200 more and it's been working great since December. It was a bit loud on stock settings but after a very simple undervolt it's giving essentially the same performance but it's running quieter and cooler.
Love the look too as I went for a non-rgb monochrome build
