I use this card in my computer and I love it! I get some awesome FPS in Call of Duty & other games. I was suprised at how much I can overclock this card and it actually cools pretty good. The best part - it's cheaper than the partner cards!

Fantastic video card that has no problems running everything I throw at it. QHD gaming runs at very high frame rates even at max settings for all titles I’ve tried with it.

Failed about 20 times before I could finally secure this card. Runs a little hot sometimes but amazing performance at an unmatched price!!! Few cards are harder to get than this Founders Edition, worth the long wait.

Great card and value if you manage to get it. Runs nice and cool in my ITX case. Undervolted to .850 V with no performance cost while running much quieter and cooler.

Finally got one, this was the hardest to get of the Ampere cards and it took me over a year to finally get one. It had the best value and performance of all the 3000 series cards but the 10GB is starting to show its limits in new games.

If you're gaming at 144hz at 2560x1440p resolution. This graphics card by Nvidia lead you to those numbers on a consistent basis. The build quality is excellent and the design is quite unique. My first game with this card was the included game code of Call of Duty: Cold War. The performance is unreal. I also tested out with games like The Witcher 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Valorant, Overwatch and Red Dead Redemption 2. All of those games buttery smooth compared to my old GTX 980 Ti. Can't wait for more games to have ray tracing support.

3080 FE is the card you want for 4k

Team red (AMD) has done a really good job this year with their GPU offerings, but a number of games now support ray tracing and DLSS, and AMD is lagging behind Nvidia on the software front. Additionally, Nvidia GPU stock has been much easier to find than AMD (so far). Specifically among Nvidia cards, the Founders Edition cards have really good build quality, cooling and board components. There's various folks complaining about high VRAM temperatures, but I haven't been able to push this card's VRAMs past 95 C (throttling temp is 110 C) with a gaming workload. GPU temps stay under 70 most of the time. The 3070 is better value for 2k gaming; 3080 is designed for 4k. Honestly, buy whichever you can get your hands on.

Upgraded from my venerable GTX 1080 and I was literally blown away with the performance gain at 1440p 144hz. The FE card is the undisputed king of price/performance right now and if you're ever in a position to buy one at MSRP don't think, add to cart! To confirm for any prospective buyers, the FE 3080 does have the 2 MLCC, 4 POSCAP configuration. I have experienced zero crashing issues and have been able to achieve a modest (and stable) overclock with little effort. Temperatures hover around the mid 70's at max GPU utilization after a few hours of gaming so I'm also quite pleased with that. My only suggestion would be to buy an aftermarket 12 pin to 2x8 pin braided cable because the adapter included in the box looks absolutely terrible.

Just like a unicorn. IF you can find one , it is great. This card is so powerful and near silent... Very sleek, industrial design look to it. Installed and is running flawlessly in everything. It feels so heavy and really well made. So glad I could get this Nvidia brand instead of all the 3rd party cards that are having constant crashes & premature deaths' due to using poor 3rd party components.... Obviously we all wish both Nvidia & AMD would produce these in actual amounts so we can find them easier..so consider yourself lucky if you can get this. I have been trying for almost 3 months .

It took me 6 months to get an order placed for this product and I have now finally received it. Don't settle for more than MSRP and don't give up, as it'll only fuel scalpers for future tech releases. This video card smashes games in performance (with Ryzen 3900X)! I upgraded from a 1070 and nearly doubled my framerates across the board. Raytracing is a bonus, but DLSS is a huge selling point, as it offers more in terms of performance at higher resolutions. I really hope more consumers like me will be able to get their hands on this GPU, because I know the struggles are real! 5/5

Founders Edition 3080. If you can get one at MSRP, and want the performance, this is a good deal. Yes, it's pricey, but the performance is fantastic. You can pay more for a 3rd party card with a better cooler, but the gains are only incremental. You can also pay more for a 3rd party card with lower power limits or a worse cooler. ASUS TUF is the only other card I've seen that would be better at this price, but that is not available. The cooler does get louder than I would like under load. The memory also gets pretty hot, although the GPU temp is well controlled. Due to the memory temps I would recommend keeping this card at the stock power limits and not overclocking without changing the cooler.

Can't beat it for the money. Nvidia is still the king of graphics, and this is just so much nicer than the 6800 or 6900xt. 12 pin is a little obnoxious, but power delivery is still fine, and you can definitely manage with no issues with a 750 watt power supply, though if you don't want to undervolt I would suggest 750watt as the minimum for best performance. Cooling is great, no issues with the card at all! Built solid, no issues to speak of. The best card for high end AAA 1440p 144hz gaming that will continue to perform well over the next few years. 3070 is still amazing, but if you want to stay on the cutting edge for a while with top tier titles, the 3080 is definitely worth the jump.

This card was well worth the wait. It is running Cyberpunk at Ultra/1440p/75 fps and it barely gets over 70 degrees. Ray tracing and DLSS are amazing.

Build quality on the Founder's Edition NVIDIA cards leaves nothing to be desired. The performance and underclocking ability of this card are both great. The only cons are that it gets somewhat noisier than AIB options when pushed, and the high power consumption inherent to recent NVIDIA architectures.
