Many appreciate the card's design and its ability to handle ray tracing well, although some experienced noticeable fan noise or coil whine. Can’t believe I was one of the lucky few to get this card on launch day and I gotta say it was definitely worth it. If you have chance to buy it at MSRP, definitely jump on that as soon as you can or else someone else will. Was finally able to finish my first ever PC build with it and coming from console -it’s such a huge leap that I’m a changed man

An amazing card if you can get your hands on it for the MSRP, cheapest 3080 by far without compromising on quality. Bad for mining without custom thermal pads, but that's pretty much any of the 3080 cards. Avoid if you have an air cooler on your CPU, increases the CPU temp significantly in such cases. Also makes a fair bit of noise, not an issue for me as I use ANC headphones.

I have 2 gaming PCs in my household, one has a strix, the other somehow successfully checked out with this one after the recent tariff raise. This one 100% has the better value compared to a ridiculous $929 for the strix. Luckily I bought the strix for $850, but it isn’t worth $929. The only other problem I have with this card is it gets stupid loud. Everything else is awesome lol

Waited outside Best Buy for hours to get this card. The person handing out the tickets was nice and respected the order in line. As for the card, it works great and there were no issues out of the box like the 1070 ti I purchased years ago. I get good fps in games and things run in better quality than before. Glad to finally get a hold of this card.

While this card is incredibly difficult to find in stock, it is definitely worth the effort to get one. I upgraded from a 1070, and the difference is phenomenal. True, the power draw is fairly high, but this should be expected for an 8nm chip with these performance levels. If you're looking to power a 144Hz monitor at 1440p resolution or a quality 4K display, look no further.

Beast of a graphics card. This is exactly what I needed to push high frame rates on 3440x1440. I upgraded from a 1070ti and got over double the performance. My only con is that the Founder's Edition card is superrrrr loud. The fans really ramp up to push the hot air out of the case. The design was unique and sounded great on paper but the thermals don't hold a candle to traditional triple fan cards. My FE sits around 70-73 degrees under load which isn't awful but could be better. I highly recommend this card if you're looking into playing 4k 120 or 2k 240 hz. One last concern that I just thought of is the 10 GB of VRAM. For now 10 GB is enough but newer games with RTX are getting close to its limits. We'll have to see how well this card holds up in 2 years in that regard. I'll probably end up buying the next best thing by then anyways lol.

Buying the card was a pain, but I finally was able to get it. As for the card, it is everything that one would want: great performance at a great price. The ray tracing performance with DLSS is adequate for Watch Dogs Legion. All other games run great. The 10GB of VRam may be problematic in the future, but it hasn't been a problem. I highly recommend this card, if you can find one.

I've been wanting the fe since launch and I finally got one. Admittedly, Ive been lucky and have owned other 3080s in these trying times and the other ones have been better performers than this one... But, with how small this one is, how pretty it is, and still at original msrp... I'm very happy with this purchase. I wish the thermal pads were better though.

The 3080 FE card is hands down the best purchase I’ve made in 2021. It was impossible to find but when these are more readily available, I highly recommend going the FE route. Don’t waste hundreds of dollars on OC versions of the 3080, its not needed! With enough airflow in your case, the FE card performs amazingly and fairly silently! Doesn’t overheat either!

I purchased this card in preparation for upcoming game launches. This card is a beast for the cost. It was easy to OC and get the base core from 1710 to 1830. While gaming holds steady at 2025. Im able to run MSFS2020 in 4k ultra settings no lag. Same goes for Red Dead Redemption. Im ready for Cyberpunk 2077. It was a huge upgrade from an RTX 2080 SUPER.

Hard to obtain, but finally got it. Improved from RTX 2070 Super, which I gave to my nephew's rig when his graphic card burned out. Using with 5120x1440 superwide monitor and plays on ultra settings with 60+ FPS consistently. Runs hotter, so might need to add more cooling to my rig to keep it cool.

This card looks spectacular. Clean design and new look that we haven't get used to from Nvidia. The performance is insane, I was getting above 160 fps in apex with everything on high settings on 2k resolution. It's definitely worth the price. Nvidia nailed it this year. If you can get your hands on one of these don't hesitate about the kind your getting.

It took me quite a while to get one of these, and it was worth the wait. I couldnt justify getting any of the third party cards due to the price. The $699.99 price point makes this card such a bargain. Going from a 1080ti to this card was an insane boost in peformance.

I guess the devil now has possession of my soul because I got this guy at MSRP. Fantastic card, replaced my Radeon 5700 that was already good enough. The FE cooler design means that the card tops out at 72 C in my case. I put it in a Meshify C case with a front AIO, and the card almost touches the fans (I can get a piece of paper between them).

The performance of this GPU has definitely blown my mind, especially for what you get for the price. The FE cooler is definitely amazing and it keeps my card cool, even when I overclock it. I use it for 1440p gaming and I've never had a game that gave me issues.
