A fantastic value card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For your money, IMO, this is the best card you can get on the market currently. While it's true that there are technically "better" cards on the market, nothing else really delivers this amount of power at this price point. This card is powerful, so far it's handled everything I've thrown at it like a champ (including ray tracing and DLSS). Honestly, the only negative thing I have to say so far is that I wish it had slightly more vram. While the 40 series cards are almost certainly coming later this year, if you're not interested in waiting the 3080 is great bang for your buck.

“Best Buy” ever ;)
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic product at an amazing price…I recommend if you have the technological know-how to replace the thermal pads. It runs cooler and better, but even if you don’t it’s great!

The gamer's GPU.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 3080 is a great GPU though not value oriented but certainly better than the 3090. This is a gamer's GPU and the aesthetics are amazing. The GPU itself can handle anything on a 1440p display. It suits my needs!

Finally got it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Powerful card. So glad I was able to get it from beat buy with store pick up. I know not everyone has been so lucky but best buy releasing their inventory in waves at least gives us a fighting chance against bots.

Amazing Card
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phenomenal product and the best price around. Really hard to grab, if you’re able too but worth the hassle. Best graphics card available for price and performance in my opinion.

Best 3080 Card Out There
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance out of this card is amazing especially for the price since it's a founders edition. God Bless the Founders
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.FINALLY GOT MY FOUNDERS. Runs very well. Is everything I wanted out of a graphics card for the price. I should have gotten a 3090 since it was still in my price range and a lot easier to find.

Monster of a GPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally managed to bag one of these beasts, and I am sure glad I did. While my CPU might not be the best for some of the latest AAA games, this card still gives me the power I need to run games at 4K resolution, 60 frames a second, with the quality cranked to the max. Doom Eternal runs solid 4K60 at Ultra Nightmare quality, and still has some headroom. I do take one star because when I make it go it starts hogging power like mad. But other than that it's a total win.

...Finally
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OMG, I was finally able to get my hands on this beauty. Of course, I had to camp out overnight at my local best buy in order to do so. It was worth the wait! What an incredibly powerful GPU - I can run all my favorite games at max settings and this beast doesn't even blink. I also appreciate that best buy actually sells this card at MSRP. That's right, $699.99 baby! What a steal in today's crazy GPU market. Thank you best buy.

Best Value RTX 3080
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For Gamer: Best value card among all of the RTX 3080. However, the cooling might not be as good as other aftermarket cards. If you are not crazily overclocking this card, you should be fine. Great gaming card for gamers. For Miner: For ETH mining, this card can hit 93 - 100 MH/s (some will be lucky to hit a higher rate). However, the memory junction temperature will go as high as 110C if you don't find a good way to cool off the memory. Some people will take off the backplate and add a custom heatsink, but please aware doing that will void the warranty.

Best value 3080 if you can get it
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best value RTX 3080 if you can get it. Too bad they've been impossible to find. Fans are a bit louder and temps a bit higher than other beefier cards but nothing to complain about.

Best value on top tier GPU! (if faster than bots)
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(20210422 two weeks after arrival) Luckily, I was able to purchase this at MSRP for a friend who was looking for one. So far, everything is running SMOOTHLY. If you can get this through all of the bots and other people rushing to find a GPU, enjoy. Thank you to Best Buy for continuing to list the RTX 3080 FEs at $699. BB is also listing the AIB GPUs at close to their original MSRP unlike the other big box retailers. Freaking Newegg's starting price on 3080s is $950+ and their 3070s are more expensive than BB's 3080 FE now. Not to mention that Newegg's shuffle bundles means that you have to waste money on extra parts on the slim chance that you're selected to buy a GPU.

Amazing in every way
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is awesome. Best Buy is the best place to get graphics cards at a cheap price. You can't go wrong with any 3080, but the FE ones look the best by far.

How i run my 3080FE and some results.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best buy came through. Check out Nvidia's discord and you can stay pretty updated when BB is going to do a drop. This is how im currently running the RTX 3080 FE and how it performs. -First i bought the EVGA PerFE 12 Cable which so far is the nicest sleeved direct cable on the market. Cablemods said they will also have custom color version of this cable in a few weeks so you can wait for that if you would rather have that. -Im using EVGA Precision X1 Ver 1.1.1 to Control the Fans and OC the card. "You can also use MSI afterburner but it seems like AB only allows you to control both fans together rather then Precision X1 allowing you to control each fan independently" When Gaming I put "Fan1" at 95% and "Fan2" at 70%. Fan2 is the louder of the 2 fans and anything above 70% has to strong of a ring/jet engine sound to it so i dont recommend goign higher then that. With these setting im able to get temps while gaming between 55-65C and its not loud for me at all. My Clocks stay pretty much at 1950-1965MHz with Lowest being 1920MHz and highs being 1980MHz. If you choose to run default auto you can expect 75-85C temps and ~30-45MHz less. -I haven't really OC'ed much yet as im waiting for my water block to come in but you can definitely OC with the stock FE cooler a bit if you dont mind running the fans both at near full power. Something you will need to experiment with yourself in your own case. But in my setup OCing with +700mem and +110core with 116% power target both fans at 100% i went from ~65C to ~80C and at that point given also it seems Ampere doesnt leave much performance for OCing unless you keep it cool "<40C" its probably best not to OC or maybe just do a lite OC. Bottom line the FE cooler is very well made and keeps the card cool in my case. -I have also tested Undervolting and here is where its definitely something worth doing to bring down your temps and fan speeds. I was able to drop ~10C without losing any noticeable performance. Even in a extreme under voltage case it dint seem like i lost more then a few FPS. So definitely worth trying if quiet and lower temps is what you're after. -In EVGA X1 you can control the Brightness of the Geforce RTX white logo only. "wish it was RGB" There is also 2 sets of LEDs in the Cove of each fan/heatsink which is RGB and can be changed to your liking aswell as brightness. -I play in ultrawide 3440x1440. Some have questions about the Vram only being 10GB. What i have noticed is IF you play on DX11 almost every game that i have Division1, Division2, Anthem, WatchDogs legion, wildlands, breakpoint etc when playing these game on DX11 my Vram usage is only around 6.5GB with MAX graphic settings or with 1 or 2 settings turned down 1 click from ultra to high lets say. It is "ONLY" when i switch to >"DX12"< where for some reason games use ALOT more Vram. For Example Div2 goes from 6.5GB to ~9GB with DX12. WatchDogs legion goes from 7GB to 7.8GB. So it really depends on the game and if you're playing on DX12 which is required if you're playing with Ray tracing ON. Even with all that in Mind 10GB seems to be enough for now for ultrawide with DX11 and probably enough in 99% of the games with DX12. If you playing on 2560x1440 you're going to use less Vram then me so you will be fine and on 4K then 10GB might be pushing it and i would probably go with the 3090 or the soon to be released 3080ti if you can afford it. So if you're looking up the games you play on Youtube to see what Vram usage to expect pay close attention what resolution they are using to test aswell as if they are on DX11 or DX12. As a side note: i get more FPS with DX11 in some games then i do with DX12. In closing. This was a Great buy and should keep me pretty stable with nearly max setting at around 120FPS on Ultrawide for the next year or so in most games i play. Im very happy with this purchase and hope you guys score one soon too.
