Absolute powerhouse of a card. Incredible increases over my now dead 1080 ti, handles basically everything thrown at it. Paired into a Ryzen 3700x, 750w PSU with no issues. Handles everything into 2 1440p 144hz Gsync displays with little effort. Does put out some significant heat, but in a well ventilated case you should be fine. I know these cards are hard to get, but if you manage it, it'll be well worth it.

This card is amazing. If you want to max frames at 1440 P or even dabble into 4K gaming I couldn’t recommend a product more than this. Been able to overclock it a little bit but the new reference set up doesn’t quite enhance performance as much as generations past. Either way this card is an amazing card without even being over clocked.

While obviously the 3080 Ti and 3090 (and the recently announced 3090 Ti) are more powerful than this card, I believe the 3080 is the best spot to be in. The 3090 in it’s best cases only offers 15% more performance over the 3080 for over double the price. In my book, this just is not worth it. The 3080 is where it’s at, pushing out serious frames at 1440, and 4k

Nothing beats the 3080 FE in price point for its performance

Bots can't wait in line for this amazing card. I waited in line two other times and received the 3070 FE and the 3080 TI FE. Both are amazing cards. This time I wanted to try the 3080 to compare to partner cards. This card does not disappoint. I am really impressed with Nvidia's performance on all their cards when compared to the partner cards that I have tested with friends.

It’s a really good gpu I’m using it for my most recent build and its amazing for gaming

After many weeks of attempts, early alarms, and furious refreshing, I finally managed to get my grimy hands on one of these cards earlier this year. It was absolutely worth it. This is the first time I have never had to worry about FPS or settings or anything. I just set it to max and play the game, that simple. No dips, no nothing. It maxes out my 100Hz monitor in every game simple as that.

Card is beautiful and runs flawlessly. Temperatures are a little on the high side but thats expected with only 2 fans. Hands down the best value for any of the 3080 series cards. Cant beat the price when best buy gives 10 percent off plus ability to use reward points.

This is an absolute monster of a graphics card. I have this paired with my i9-9900kf, and it's able to run just about every game I own at 1440p 144hz with ease. Note: I literally had to wait 13 hours outside of Best Buy in order to have the opportunity to buy one at MSRP. Not Best Buy's fault, but just super inconvenient as a consumer, all due to Miner's and chip shortages.

I waited at my local best buy for hours before open to get this card. Luckily I was early enough to be first in line, which meant I got to buy the only FE my local best buy has gotten in over 6 months. I was completely awe struck to actually have this card in my hands and taking it home. Now that I have had it for a few weeks.... I am not so impressed. 3080's in general are great cards and perform very well. The issue is the heat and noise. Upon my first benchmark this cards memory hit 112c and the card thermal throttled. I turned the fans up and tried again. This time it was hitting 108c with fans nearly maxed out, screaming loud enough it was not practical to keep them this high. Now it's all over Youtube that it's easy to swap out the thermal pads and drop the temps. I'll tell you now, this has a varying degrees of success and you may find yourself having to order pads multiple times and re padding multiple times to finally get temps that are only a bit better than stock. All this considered, it's still the cheapest 3080 on the market and is a great card. If you don't need the full hash rate, it may be worth getting a 3080 with a better cooler and quieter fans, like an EVGA or ASUS. The market is improving and we are starting to get selection again. Unless you NEED a smaller Founders Edition card or prefer the cards that don't have restricted hash rates, I would honestly suggest looking into other cards and selling me your FE's.
