Very excellent product. Design is nice and performance is top notch

I waited at my local best buy for hours before open to get this card. Luckily I was early enough to be first in line, which meant I got to buy the only FE my local best buy has gotten in over 6 months. I was completely awe struck to actually have this card in my hands and taking it home. Now that I have had it for a few weeks.... I am not so impressed. 3080's in general are great cards and perform very well. The issue is the heat and noise. Upon my first benchmark this cards memory hit 112c and the card thermal throttled. I turned the fans up and tried again. This time it was hitting 108c with fans nearly maxed out, screaming loud enough it was not practical to keep them this high. Now it's all over Youtube that it's easy to swap out the thermal pads and drop the temps. I'll tell you now, this has a varying degrees of success and you may find yourself having to order pads multiple times and re padding multiple times to finally get temps that are only a bit better than stock. All this considered, it's still the cheapest 3080 on the market and is a great card. If you don't need the full hash rate, it may be worth getting a 3080 with a better cooler and quieter fans, like an EVGA or ASUS. The market is improving and we are starting to get selection again. Unless you NEED a smaller Founders Edition card or prefer the cards that don't have restricted hash rates, I would honestly suggest looking into other cards and selling me your FE's.

This gpu runs hot but out performs for sure have zero issues with it so far. If you can get your hands on the rtx the 3080 is the best bang for your buck. Do not buy the 3090 since games will never utilize that much ram. Face it once you buy the latest gpu its already out of date.

The 3080. It needs no introduction. It's an excellent GPU. I'm stoked to be lucky enough to get the Founders Edition at retail price. Only annoyance is how hard it is to get. It's a monster and the build quality is exquisite. It's truly a beautiful card (again, one of the biggest reasons why I wanted the FE version specifically) Highly recommended, If you're able to get one.

This graphics card is one of the most powerful cards on the market. It easily runs any game in 4k with ray tracing enabled. Not to mention the possibility of good mining capabilities. However there is on major flaw. The GDDR6X memory gets extremely hot. Hot enough to the point where it will throttle itself even though the GPU dye is relatively cool. The VRAM will routinely get above 100*C, One has to wonder if this will limit the lifespan of the card. Time will tell,

Lives up to the hype. Worth all the craziness to grab one when they pop up for sale. This as is everyone should know is the more understated slick looking of the 3080s...if you want the rainbow RGB colors and flashing lights this definitely is not the model you want. But if you want the modern looking, slick, confident looking without the Las Vegas flash this is the one for you.

Good bang for buck. Runs smooth and noise is tolerable.

Really fast card compared to the 2080ti. Fits perfectly in my ITX case.

The NVIDIA RTX 3000 series. WOW. Nothing short from amazing! It get the job done; simply put. FRAMES WIN GAMES. If you have a high refresh monitor or wish to do some next level gaming you need to make the investment to protect your gaming future. I know the main issue is getting your hands on these out of stock items, but keep trying! These are truly built for NEXT GEN gaming!

I bought this as a gift for my brother who is in a computer science master's and running incredibly complex and resource-intensive programs. As far as we can both tell, this graphics card is more than able to keep up without overheating or other issues. Also, the framerate on games like destiny is actually unreal. This is the apex graphics card I have come across.

Love the look of this card, far better than any other on the market. Price is also superior to any AIB card for functionality identical performance. The center location of the power connection doesn't bother me at all but I would have liked the adapter having longer wires by a few inches at least. Bestbuy is the place to get GPUs, no chance at all anywhere else.
