Really good graphics card for the price , I got a 1080 2 years ago for the same price . This card is really good my Quality stream went from pixel to 1080p of one pc

Totally what a was expecting from a 3080 but the only thing that is a little annoying is the noise level, fans running at 80 can be noise.

So far so good! Easy to install and already had the current drivers. It is a no brainer if you can get your hands on it.

Excellent product with a really awesome, clean look. Love this card. I was one of the lucky ones to get it.

I've been building computers and playing games for 20 years. I am so beyond frustrated with NVIDIA and what they have done with these cards. I'm talking about the VRAM junction heat issues and needing to take the card completely apart to repad, repaste it so that it will work as advertised. From a business point of view, NVIDIA who is the premier GPU manufacture in the world used the cheapest pads possible and not even on the spots where it's needed most. So fair warning to all who buy this cards, it's only working at about 80% out of the box. I had to repad the GPU die side with 1.5 mm pads (I might at another .5mm to that side for better contact.) You'll also need to repad the entire back side with1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm pads. The most important area is around the back of the die around the GPU "clip" that screws into the back. In order to keep the thermals down I also had to add a dedicated PCIe GPU triple fan right underneath the card to blow air directly on to it and help cool down the metal exterior. I tested this and it does make a 4-6 degree difference on the junctions. Gelid Extreme 2mm and 3mm are you best bet due to them being extra soft pads. Pad EVERYTHING that is recommended but make sure not to pad with too much thickness or the plates wont make good contact with the GPU.

Fast card but runs hot and thermal throttles. I have an NZXT case and it really holds back the card. The FE card hits 85c while gaming and fans are at max. If you have a case with poor airflow I would advise against this card.

Nothing but good things come from this GPU while owning it. Even to this day, it holds up in every title that gets thrown at it when it comes to 1440P high/ultra settings, even in 4K in some games! Was lucky enough to get this card at MSRP back in the summer of 2022 (nearly 2 years after launching). I was very close to keeping this card for another year in my new build (moved from Intel to AMD) until I was given the chance to get a 5080 FE at MSRP for my new build. I then returned the 3080 back into its original build. Its hard for me to resell this item (even to a close friend) as it still holds a lot of value to me and what it can still accomplish to this day.

This is the one. Great price, innovative cooling, sleek looks, and more importantly, the best GPU performance for your money. If you want to play games in 1440p with high frames, have a solid 4k experience with all the bells and whistles, and get the most out of VR, the 3080 Founders Edition is the one to get... if you can find it. It's scarcity is its only con.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 is an absolute monster. Gorgeous shroud accompanies a unique fan design. Speaking of that it features a zero rpm fan operation and when under load is non offensive and sometimes downright whisper quiet. The 3080 has arguably better thermal performance compared to my outgoing RTX 2080 FE even if its consuming more power. Frankly it is an impressive feat of engineering for the green team. Speaking of green, this card ditches the green led lighting from Turing and replaces it with an led light above the card as well as on the side logo. One downside is the included adapter cable which frankly detracts from the design but is unfortunately necessary for packaging of the card. Power supply vendors have solutions but to be fair, Nvidia should have done a better job with this aspect. 12gb of gddr6x would have also been nice, but Also could have affected the price. Depending on the load, a bit of coil whine can be heard but it may be the nature of high end electronics. This graphics card will destroy 1440p and 4k and eat it for breakfast. If you can get your hands on one you are in for an absolute incredible experience. Ferocious performance for yesterdays prices. Competition from the Radeon team may deem a worthy battle of titan tier cards but until then this is a true flagship.

It took me a long time to get, but it was amazing. Pros - Looks clean and nice (personal opinion) - Has lots of performance - Smaller compared to other 3080s - Isn't affected by any tariffs so is cheaper Cons - At fan speeds near 100% it can get very loud, but that's kind of expected. This kind of loud sounds like of like an airplane or even a space ship though. (I heard about something called nicehash which mined on it and it made the fans speed go up this high and tried to run it over night and couldn't sleep and turned it off within an hour and never used it again.) A bonus feature is it has rbg! not on the words "GEFORCE RTX", but the lights on the top of it near the fan where it forms that V shape.
