Best Card I've Ever Had.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down, this card is amazing; looks, performance, and stays cool, and is quite compared to my previous aorus. But my god is this card huge. I was barely able to fit it in my micro ATX NZXT case. Worth the upgrade from my 2080.

Great card if you can find one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's the best card out there, but you definitely pay a premium for it. The price/performance is not good if you mainly buy it for gaming. I'd recommend 3080 for gaming, unless you want absolute the best.

The journey was long... and...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is a beast - it weighed more than I expected but is perfect for what you are getting, a powerhouse that is worthy of any high-end PC build. This isn't for lightweight computers where the cpu or memory will bottleneck the 3090's performance. Professionally speaking, it is exactly what I have needed for my 3D needs and works perfectly with no issues in installation nor setup. The Nvidia software is solid too and doesn't drag my system. Be prepared to learn a lot in order to fully use it to its fullest. For gamers, the RTX 3090 is a trophy card and I guess if you have lots of money to waste, go for it, but if you aren't an elite, the lesser 3080 or 3070 will do excellently with far less impact on your wallet, trust me. It was hard to get but finally managed to buy one from Bestbuy, and it was worth the wait.

King of the hill
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THE top of the line. I use this card for everything from making models in Blender for my 3d printer, to gaming, to transcoding Blu-ray movie files. Anything you throw at this, it will succeed. While the value/$ is not good, this has raw power. Most of the time I can be modeling in Blender while my wife plays in VR at the same time. If you want a card just for gaming, go with a 3080 or 3080ti. If you want to use this as a true workstation monster, then this is your product. One big con that some people do not realize, its the sheer size of this card. It is MASSIVE and weighs a ton. You need a larger mid size tower case to fit this. Anything smaller than an NZXT h510i will not fit this easily.

Great value if you use it for productivity
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Get it if you absolutely must have the best card out right now but know that the 3080 is a better value if you are just gaming. If you do productivity work then this is perfect. Make sure it fits in your case because its a chonker.

Expensive but killer performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Performance and noise levels are amazing, VRAM is huge if you can use it - if not, try for a 3080 if you can find one, these are easier to get. Double check the dimensions of your case too, this card is one of the largest I've seen.

Best GPU on the planet
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The most amazing, overkil GPU that I've owned. I was lucky enough to get one of these and have been very happy with it. Its expensive, power hungry, and has some coil whine, but it takes anything you can throw at it.

Worth the wait.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thank you Best Buy for letting us wait in person for a chance to get one at MSRP. I had to camp out over 18 hours in front of the store. got there and was the 55th person in line (I thought I was as guaranteed a card) some how throughout the day and night I became the 80th person. I was so sure anymore but it worked out still got the 3090 and 3070 for my brother (he waited with me). Well over 200 cards in stock that day. The 3090 is a huge improvement over a 2080 especially with escape from tarkov. Cons: this thing is heavy, and the coil whine sounds like a dang hybrid car creepin by you when at load, memory temps are a little higher than I would like 107c highest at load. The coil is getting better with use tho

Fantastic GPU for Workstation use
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Build quality feels super solid. It renders path tracing in Cycles at 2x-20x faster than my previous gtx 1080 depending on the scene. It runs surprisingly quiet. This card is REALLY big. It takes up 3 slots and is very heavy.

Super fast graphics card.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used for 2 years and it’s perfect. Never overheats, always works. It’s super fast, has 24gb ram which is more than you need. I can run some older games at 5k oversampled to 8k for VR with a Vive Pro 2 and still get 120fps

Xtreme Greatness
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow this thing is powerful! I've been building Pc systems for a long time and this is the first time I treated myself to such an exquisite, and expensive, item. As expected every game I threw at it played buttery smooth with all the graphical options cranked up. One thing to be aware of is that this card can run hot and thus throttle back a bit which in turn makes you a little less excited about spending so much hard earned cash on it. I myself replaced the thermal pads inside the card with better quality ones and saw temps drop by 6 degrees celsius. So if there is one recommendation, other than buy this card, its to upgrade the thermal pads if your able to.

Overkill for gaming, but it's still awesome
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was lucky enough to find the NVIDIA 3090 GTX in stock on Best Buy's web site one day, and even luckier to actually get through checkout without them selling out instantly. I'm still in disbelief that I was actually able to get one. So far the NVIDIA 3090 GTX has been awesome. It looks great and it's super quiet. It runs around 65C when gaming @ 4K. I get close to 120FPS @ 4K in some games, so I'm happy! I have some coil noise when gaming and FPS > 60Hz, but I've heard and owned much noisier GPUs in this regard. The 3090 GTX is overkill for my needs (I'm not doing anything that requires 24GB of VRAM right now), but considering GPU availability nowadays I consider myself lucky to have picked one up.

A beast
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing graphic cards. It's huge and heavy, too big even for a mid size cabinet. Expensive just for gaming, but buying at MSRP is not a bad deal compared to a 3080 price others might be asking on ebay.

Great performance, but unnecessary for most.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pair this bad boy with a top of the line CPU, like Ryzen 5000 to fully take advantage of its performance. Excellent at 4K. This thing is comically large. I was stunned when I opened the box. Unnecessary, but you take what you can get at MSRP in these times. Fan over75% is pretty loud, and the memory temperature is concerning, and for the money spent, NVIDIA could have installed high performance thermal pads to alleviate the issue, of which you can find much detail about online. 3090 compared to the 3080, you are entering territory of diminishing returns, and the heat this thing pumps out is pretty extreme. It's a great GPU, but I wish it wasn't so hot. If you want the best, this is it.

King of consumer video cards
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Strolled into Rockville Best Buy one morning as they were opening and I was shocked to see this in the lockup. I picked it up, ran home and installed into a mid-tower case. This card is massive! I had to move a an LED fan and the heat pump from my Corsair water cooler to get it to fit. Performance wise this crushes every game I throw at it with settings maxed out on my custom O/C'd AMD Ryzen 3800x, 64GBs RAM, 850w PSU. This card probably isnt for everyone, I just couldnt say no since video cards are in short supply and hard to find these days.

When there are no other options...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a 1080ti FTW 3 Hybrid to this. I skipped 2000 series entirely. All I wanted on this earth, and all I still want, is a 3080 FWT3 Hybrid or the Strix 6800XT. I prefer AIO GPUs for the performance. Obviously, these cards are nowhere to be found, and are even more difficult to get than the air cooled variants, which are equally impossible to get. I ended up with the 3090 FE since I could buy it, I have disposable income, I had a 10% off birthday coupon, and I had some Best Buy GC's. If I didn't have resources to bring it down in price fairly significantly, I would have skipped it. What's so sad is with the tariffs and GDDR6X prices going up, these are suddenly becoming sort of reasonable.

A beast of a video card
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a beast. It weighs a lot. It performs outstanding. Power house Graphics card but pricey
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially wanted a 3080 but they were sold out and this was available, so I got it thinking it would sell out by the time I got to the cart. This thing is a Power house and perfect for gaming. video editing or anything else you may need to do and you should have no problem doing it. I have had it for about 4 months now and I am glad I got it. The only reason why I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because there is an odd issue that I was able to fix with another program and the price is rather high The issue is while just browsing or doing something that isnt intensive, the cards fans are not spinning (which is normal), and once I do something that is intensive, such as playing a game, the fans will kick in (this is also normal). However, occasionally the fans would just kick on out of the blue, cause my screens to go black for a moment, and when it would come back but some of my programs would be closed. This issue has happened multiple times, and I eventually fixed it by using MSI afterburner and just making it so the fans are always on (spinning at a low % until they are needed), and this seems to have fixed the problem.

The King is here to stay
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The king is here, and is hard to go for anything else when this monster gets in your hands. I will keep it short and to the point: this GPU can run ALL games on ULTRA settings, at 2K resolution. Indeed there is a steep price of entry, and the supply chain still has not caught with the demand ... but once you experience the raw power, it surely delivers on everything you would expect from the most powerful GPU designed for the enthusiast gamer. I thought about slashing a star because of the price, but since this addresses a particular niche of gamers I reconsidered and gave it a full 5 stars.

Best Graphics Card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best graphics card to date. 24 gb of vram for what I do (3D Modeling) is absolutely killer. Extremely well built. The cooling is insane even with a full load.
