RTX 3090: The Truth
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I got REAL lucky buying this card. So, I will make this short and to the point. Is it expensive? YES, it is! Is it worth it? Yes, it is! I had an MSI GTX 1080 Duke, and yes I can tell the difference. It runs quietly. I keep my drivers up to date, so all I had to do was shut down, take out the old card, and pop in the new one. **NOTE** If you do not have a full tower or open case, DO NOT buy this card. It has three fans and it will take up to three slots. My 1080 had three fans, so I already had a full tower. If you do get the opportunity to buy this card, go for it. You will not regret it.

Best GPU for gaming/crypto/machine learning
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What is there not to like? Yes Crypto is keeping these guys OOS every. However if you are mining, assuming BTC stays at $60K and difficulty stays relatively the same and the payout is the the same, then you can probably make this card free after 9 or 10 months pretax assuming you get free electricity. Or 1 year if you have to pay the man his cut of the profit at the end of the year. As for gaming, it's the best you can get right now but definitely not worth the cost compared to the 3080... assuming you can get a 3080 at Nvidia's MSRP. In terms of value, it's the worst value if you are purely gaming because you could've saved yourself $800 just by getting a 3080 and give up maybe 5% performance. Heck get 2x 3080 if you can find them both at MSRP and build a gaming rig at home and one for friend/mining. For Machine learning and such, I don't have experience because I don't do these thing or even know how to set one up to extract the most value out of the 3090. I wager if I was able to utilize this card to its max, I would probably pay the scalper's price for it.

worth it. i hope.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.not worth the price over 3080 but for what the market is, you get to have the best in the market for the cheapest price for a 3090. can get 110mh/s and stay 96C or lower on vram and low 40s for gpu. 4k gaming ridiculously good. with great power comes great prices as in you will be spending alotta money in pc components to match the 3090 capabilities, not to mention a case that can handle the size as well as a 4k@120hz tv or better display. i plan on not buying a new pc and a tv for the next 5-10 years and hipe that it stays "future proof." that is the only way i can percieve the price as worth it. 2nd fan is hella loud. 1st fan not so much, but isnt quite considered quiet either at full load. 2nd fan is relatively quiet until 50% speed and 1st fan upto 60%. after that... good luck keeping your system cool if you want to maintain noise levels. 2nd fan is literally a jet engine and 1st fan is like sticking ur face outside a moving vehicle.

Super efficient mining card! 61 mh/s
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 3070 is an excellent mining card. I'm hashing at 61.5 mh/s per card, equivalent to 2 gtx 1070's. Power draw is 129W. The cards are super efficient and run very cool. Thank you for the great drops so far BB and looking forward to copping more cards!!

3090 FE
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I'd like to say that currently BestBuy is the only retailer I know of that has any bot protection worth talking about. This is probably the best odds of getting any of the high demand PC parts right now. Really great graphics card, probably a bit overkill for 1080p / 1440p gaming but I'm happy with it nonetheless. Can run Cyberpunk 2077 at solid 60 fps in 4k max settings with ray tracing enabled (probably higher). DLSS works good and I would expect it will be even better in the future. Hopefully more games take advantage of higher VRAM in the near future.

Best bang for the buck card
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In this current crazy GPU market, this is the most bang-for-the-buck and one of the best-performing RTX 3090 graphics card! Nvidia saves the best chip for its FE cards, so it has some overclocking headroom along with a highly functioning 2-fans cooler with a unique design/aesthetic. The only drawback is the limited RGB light bar on the top of the card - unless you want to pay a lot more to get more RGBs from other AIBs. I was lucky to get this card when it was dropped at my local BB store. Hope you get lucky too!

Great card that runs quiet and is very fast
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is awesome. Very fast and runs cool and quiet with just one fan. Also takes lower power requirements than other cards on the market.

Should just be called the 3080 Super
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a great time with this card so far, it's crazy fast and runs cool and quiet on top of that. Definitely would rather have the 3080 and an extra $800 in my pocket though, but we all know how trying to get a 30 series card has been.

The Boss Hog of FEs
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs like a champ, nice and quiet and easy to install, be warned this beast is huge and runs pretty hot if you don't have enough airflow.

It's a beast - it's heavy, it's expensive, + FAST
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is exactly what you think it is - the most expensive but also most powerful GeForce RTX card in the 30 series. As you might see in other reviews, it's really just for either extremists, or those that can utilize the 24GB of Video RAM. I'm the former, and it scratched that itch for me. It's huge, 3 slots worth of huge in fact. It weighs almost 5 lbs. What else can I say, it's the 3090. If you can manage to snag one without going to the scalpers, do it. I love it, and you will too, as long as you know what you're getting.

Great if you can get it.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great. Legit just plug and play. Only thing might be the thermal pads may need replacing which is kind of bad. For a premium price I expected a fully premium product tbh. Overall though: Absolutely crushes my 970 that I initially came from. QUIET. Extreeemmeeelllyyy Quiet. I live with no kids, a cat, and my GF and work from home and I never hear this thing. As it is, this is honestly a better purchase than any AIB / 3rd Party 3080 nowadays. 1200$ for a ROG Strix 3080, might as well spend 1500 for a 3090.

Hail to the King - And open your wallet ...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A definite Halo product, but if you are a computer enthusiast, there is currently nothing better. The Founder's Edition design is elegant but this card is a beast; both in performance and in size and weight. Subtle RGB filters through the front, and the card runs cool and silent under load - which shouldn't be surprise given the PCB is tiny and the cooler is a massive block. If your choice is a 3080 or the 3090 - grab the 3080. But if you can't buy the one want ... buy the one that you can drop in your cart!

Fast and cool
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Performance is great. Runs cool. Seems solid and well built. Causes USB issues in my AMD CPU system (likely an AMD issue, not NVIDIA).

Amazing, but costly
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its fast, quiet, and power hungry. For those that need the most VRAM, only professional level Quadro series cards can surpass it.

Finally got a GPU! And got the best one out there!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best card out there (for now), a little expensive for my needs but today with the shortage of 3080s and the increased prices from AIBs the price difference isn't that much if you compare this to a 3080 MSI Trio or 3080 ASUS Strix, which you can't get a hold of anyway. Kuddos to Bestbuy for doing the "release stock in batches" and add to order verification/validation with email/text, I think this reduces the amount of scalping a lot and gives non-scalpers a real chance of buying these items.

Great card, ok value.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic card. Great performer. Temperatures on mine look really good, and even better than most AIB cards from EVGA, ASUS, etc. I only wish supply was greater. Only real con is the price, and this is the cheapest version of this card.
