3090 Honest Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this Founder's Edition 3090. You can throw anything at it and it won't do a thing. The only issue as most people know is that you can't get them in stock anywhere. Overall though, if you are able to get your hands on one, definitely do it. I use my card for mainly gaming, but I do do some Blender in my free time. This card is an absolute beast when it comes to rendering. 100% worth the cost, my only complaint is price, but you pay for what you get with this card.

BFGPU !!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this when I couldn't get my hands on the 3089 FE. The 3090 FE is outstanding not only in performance, but also in the cooler design. It is a long, thick and heavy gpu cooler. Well deserving of the BFGPU title. The performance is fantastic, regularly boosts to 1950 Mhz clock and holds a 65°C temps thanks to the massive cooler and huge cooling fans. Overall a well $1499 spent.

THE chonk
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not convinced the new nvidia cooling system is any better than some of the AIB versions, but its still done a good job. This card is huge. Like barely fits in a shoebox huge. GPU brace isn't included, but somehow it doesn't seem to need one yet. They made the mounts and spine very solid. It still makes me nervous so I'll eventually get a brace. It seems to throttle slightly at anything above 60 degrees. If you need a strong wedge or lever this would work well.

A must for 3D Artists.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best video card you can get for 3D production work at this price range, if you can find one! Upgraded from a 2080ti for a 1.5-2x rendering performance and a huge boost of VRAM making the titan cards of the previous generation seem like terrible value in comparison. Great card for 4k gaming but if gaming is all you do, do yourself a favor and go for something else, you wont be able to put the 3090 at its fullest potential otherwise

Monster card with a couple downsides
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very powerful card. Overkill for games, but there is a peace of mind when setting games to ultra settings and just playing. No need to fiddle with settings to achieve good framerates. The core runs pretty cool, but the VRAM is extremely hot. Some people have seen it go to 110C. Mine ran up to 98C so I put a tower CPU heatsink on the backplate and it tops out around 90C now. The card is super heavy and large. Make sure it fits in your case. I'm running with a Corsair 750W psu which is the minimum without any issues yet. It's too expensive when compared to the 3080 at MSRP, but as of now, the 3090 is far easier to get. There is some coil while in my card when running some games, but it seems to have died down a bit. The fans and LEDs are configurable with Corsair icue software. Fans are pretty quiet especially with a custom curve.

Expensive, but great GPU.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quick, quiet, as all GPUs right now overpriced, but the FE version is at least still available at MSRP.

GREAT card... but line cutters were rampant!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pure luxury. Worth the lengthy wait for the in-store event! That said, it was unfortunate to see rhe extensive cutting by dozens of mostly teens/early 20-yr olds...who mostly didn't even deny it when conforonted - EXCEPT for the one teen who asked those of use near the front of the line to talk to them, go to the store managers, etc. We did, got some of them kicked out, Best Buy finally got a security guard out there... and that clown actually then USED THE MAYHEM TO HIMSELF CUT IN LINE FROM #15 TO #7! AND he left the line to go home and sleep, then slipped bacj in the next morning, someone else letting him back in. Pure selfish, childish punk. Best Buy should have banned him when we (twice) brought that guy -who started the complaints about cutters, then did it himself - to their attention twice both before and after they started letting the first few in. Many thanks however to Best Buy for taking the time at least in the last 18 hours to issue numbered bracelettes and bring the security guard in. Suggest if you go to 1 of these that you take pictures of the line each hour in front of and behind you starting when you get there. If everyone did so, BB could easily see and prove who the cutters were and kick them out and it would stop. 14 people apparently cut in behind guy #1 August 26th - then THE SAME CLIWNS were there at the next event Oct 1 and tried to let 15 friends in at around position 11 and were still calling more on the phone (some even arrived by Uber!) before management finall intervened and kicked 8 of the 15 out.

Whoa! AMAZING GPU!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What more can you say? This FE 3090 is exclusively on Best Buy after NVIDIA’s website struggled at launch. There are only so many of these made and the GPU is packed with plenty of future-proofing with 24GB VRAM to handle any task. I run MS Flight Simulator maxed out on all settings at get 34-39 FPS which is amazing! I was lucky to get one of these when I happened to click at just the right time so have patience and you can get your hands on one!

The Center Piece of your Build
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic build quality and the absolute best card out today for high framerate gaming on a 4K or ultrawide monitor. Expensive but if you want the absolute best this is the card to get. Beautiful looking GPU that becomes the center piece of your build. Card is well built and has absolutely no sag when installed in your system. Air flow of the card is great as most the heat is removed from the case instead of being dumped/recirculated into the case.

This card is a beast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is a beast, but let's be honest: it's a workstation card. The gaming performance compared to a 3080 makes this card abysmal for the cost in gaming applications. But, for those of us that can swing the extra cost (or you gave up on getting ahold of a 3080 so you just bit the bullet and got a 3090 instead) this card will not disappoint. Running Cyberpunk on ultra with ray tracing enabled made me thankful I was able to get one of these!

OMG
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, so, after many, many, MANY refreshes on the Best Buy app, for the past month and a half or so, I finally was able to get this added to my cart and purchase it. I was debating a little between this one and the 3080, but ultimately I decided to go with this card because a) I can, without it hurting a bit and b) I've been wanting to get into animations and rendering, but have lacked the hardware to do it efficiently, and I thought this would be a great card to satisfy my gaming needs as well as learn a bit of the creative trade to see if I want to eventually pursue it for more than just a hobby. And let me tell you , on the gaming side at least....WOW! Now, I'm upgrading from an EVGA FTW3 1080ti, but this beast is clearly at least twice as fast as that card; with the frames it is putting out, I had to first make sure that my settings were turned up all the way (Flight Simulator 2020), and they are, in all the splendor, at well over 60 frames per second...sure, when I flew over Baltimore, it wasn't always hitting the magic 60, but close enough, not once dropping below high 50s. And with FPSs (Red Dead Redemption 2, here's looking at you), I've played for just an hour or so since I got the card, and not once, on all ultra settings, did it drop below 60 fps....not even close. Most of the time it's in the 100s, and I think the lowest I saw it hit 63. Oh, and this is ALL in 4K, btw. So, yeah, I'm one happy dude today and for the forseeable future. Now, onto experiment with Blender.....(which is clearly the reason I marked VALUE as excellent...tell me another card that is it's equal for cheaper when it comes to rendering...and psst...that's rhetorical, no need to troll, thank you)

Very good GPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After giving up on trying to get a rtx3080, I saw that this was in stock for msrp price and instantly bought it. Card got delivered fast(2days). The card is a beast and the FE model has a good cooler on it.(my card hasn't been above 68C). This graphics card runs anything I throw at it and asks for more while staying relatively cool and quite.

Outrageous and unnecessary but I love it
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely ridiculous performance. Temps stay cool even when I stress this thing to the max. This thing is completely unnecessary, but if you want the absolute best gaming card out there right now and money is no object. just do it. I specifically wanted this because i just bought a 55 inch LG oled C1 with 120hz refresh rate. Gaming on it in 4k, 1440p, or 1080p is silky smooth and looks gorgeous
