The stars aligned and an "add to cart" appeared
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OMG was I amazed I was able to lock in the purchase. just randomly showed add to cart and bing, bam boom. This thing is a fat baby, like no joke, almost 5 lbs. I only play Warzone and Heroes of the Storm and it played those with no issue at all. I also tried cyberpunk and Valhalla which ran very smooth. If you are lucky enough to pick one up, I'd suggest a GPU support bar.

Best GPU on the market! (As of writing)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing GPU. It'll handle anything you throw at it, so if you're interested in 4k/120hz or high fps (144+) 1440p gaming this is definitely one of the GPUs to get. The only negative part about this card is its price since it is only 10-15% better than a 3080, yet it has a hefty premium price tag for that performance. However, if the premium price is no issue to you then this is definitely one of the top choices for a 3090.

BFGPU
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is an absolute beast by size, by weight, and of course by performance. I have been getting insanely high frame rates even on my older 7700k @ 5 Ghz. I mostly bought this card due to increase in memory, but also due my widescreen triple 2k setup. I recommend this card only to those who can utilize its memory otherwise it is a very expensive 3080. This card is also huge, so make absolutely sure it can fit in your case.

Very nice Card that is expensive
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had no plans on using this untll I sold my RTX 2070 super due to shortage and the price i could get. This card is a monster. I only have a 1080P monitor 49inch Samsung so I am able to run many games on high and ultimate with ease. Card runs cool and performs as expected. May swap out to a more cost effective 3080 or 3070 if I can get one. Brought this out of frustration of not being able to purchase a PS5 Or 3070,3080

Best GPU on the market
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the best graphics card anyone could fathom having. Great boost clock, great temperatures. Mining BTC if you repad and paste has it running at decent temperatures. Gaming, I have yet to see the core hit over 58 degrees C. Maxes out my specs and is a great piece of hardware to work with. Easy to install and can run anything imaginable. Highly recommend if you can get your hands on one.

Monster of a GPU
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an incredible card that sucks down immense power and spits out incredible graphics at fantastic FPS. If you’re going to overspend on a 3090, might as well go for the relatively “affordable” FE. Additionally, NVIDIA support was very helpful when I was trying to work out some bugs after install from a software issue that ended up being an unrelated BIOS issue.

Fast, quiet, solid, and great value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast, quiet, and solid. This thing is a rocket. Most of my games from 2015 play near 200 FPS at 4K, while recent games run in the 70-80 FPS range (needs DLSS to ray trace at that speed on 4K). Very happy with the purchase, especially with the price compared to nearly every other 3090 card out there - it's unbeatable. A friend recently bought another brand 3090 and paid 50% more due to lack of stock and U.S. tariffs.

Fast Card but a tad pricey compared to the 3080
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card and super fast but price for performance isn’t as good as a 3080. 3080 is half the price and comes within 10%-15% performance. Most people who buy this don’t care about that or they need 24Gb of VRAM.

Beast of a card
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't want to get the 3090, but with scalpers and availability it became available in the bi-weekly drop so I pulled the trigger. I am very happy with it, but would have been happier spending less on a 3080 :) It's a beast - no question of capability to run all the games I play on ultra settings. I limit FPS to 144 to match screen refresh rate, but it can deliver far more that I can use right now!

The card performs great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card works great. The only 'complaint' is the coil whine when the card boosts, but that's just how the card performs. Picking up the card at a local bestbuy was also easy peasy. Had no issues at all with the process and the staff was very helpful. I gave the value a 4/5 because the card is expensive [compared to the 3080 which is half the cost] and I believe I paid slightly above MSRP for the card.

Quite literally a monster.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a monster. I've also gotten an EVGA 3090 FTW3, along with the hybrid water cooling kit for it. Everybody on Reddit talked about how these FE cards ran crazy hot and to be ready to change thermal pads - well I'll have to do that on my EVGA card which is hitting 110c on the memory junction, but this card maxes out at around 89c at the junction after hours, even days of full use. It's crazy -- I'm sure I could lower it, but after everything I'm heard I'm very satisfied with its quality out of the box. Also, this thing is HUGE! They're all 3 slot cards, but this thing actually has a three slot output panel on it, the little piece of metal you screw down that has your display ports. It's insane, and I couldn't fit it into any of my existing mounting hardware (it will fit fine in a PC case, don't worry). That aside, even holding it -- and having held other 3090s -- this thing is absolutely massive. Hilariously so. A 3080 is a better choice for 99% of people and is an insane value if you can get the FE version, but this was all that was left in stock when the I moved up the line. Still, I'm very happy with it. If you want the absolute best of the best this is what you want, and getting the FE for $1650 or so after tax - while still not the greatest value compared to the 3080 - is way better than some of the other 3090s that cost 2k+.

Exactly what you pay for, while worth every penny.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up at a Best Buy drop over the summer. It's a fantastic graphics card! Able to run all games and simulations I throw at it. Only main "issue" is that the stock thermal pads/paste aren't too good and causes the VRAM to heat up to it's max of 110C almost instantly. I replaced the pads with high quality aftermarket ones, and it no longer thermal throttles and I squeezed some more power out of it! It is an gargantuan and amazingly beautiful card, and the unboxing makes you feel like royalty. Plug in, install drivers, and you're playing games in less than 15 minutes. My card is currently training a neural network at a far faster pace than any consumer card on the market.

Great card with a few caveats
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROs * Top-of-the-line performance * Good GPU core temps CONs * Too expensive * Takes 3 slots * Requires 2 8-pin PCIE connectors * Have to re-pad memory for optimal mining performance * Fans noisy at 100%

Nearly impossible to get for a reason
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks tremendous in any computer case. Performs as good as it looks. Nvidia has outdone themselves with this card, though, it’s clearly difficult to get. Benchmark wise I am getting or exceeding what was promised. The Founder’s Edition card has fan-stop built in, so don’t get worried if your fans don’t spin when the card isn’t in use. Mine typically kick-in at or around 50 degrees Celsius.

Wow...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Must have if you are on the fence about upgrading from Pascal. Yes granted the value for performance is at the RTX3080 level but with updated firmware and time I'm sure that the gap in performance will widen, that being said. Very happy with this card. The solid build quality and clean lines just make it stand out compared to other RTX cards offered by MSI, Gigabyte and others. Glad I was able to land a FE.

Great Card, Memory Can Overheat
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great workstation card. Super solid build quality. This thing is super beefy and heavy. Fan design is innovative and keeps the card fairly cool, but memory still overheats if using memory intensive applications such as machine learning or crypto mining. Additional cooling for the memory should have been considered in the design. This is typical of all 30xx series RTX cards, not jus this one.

Powerhouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Powerhouse of a GPU! Currently only using for mining, but can't wait to use this beast for machine learning/ai. I am surprised at how cool it keeps vram under heavy loads. For the average consumer it most likely doesn't make sense as there is a high premium and performance of 40 series will be a massive generational leap, but for me it has been a very equitable buy.
