Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 3090's outstanding performance and excellent GPU, with many praising its efficient cooling and solid build quality. However, some users find the card's high price and large size to be drawbacks. A few also reported experiencing coil whine and noted its high power consumption and substantial weight.

Top-notch graphics card for the most demanding of projects. In my opinion, the 3080 is much better as it provides more performance-per-dollar but this 3090 blows my mind with how strong it is. It is also a massive card so make sure your case can fit it and also make sure you have accurate support for it otherwise it will sag!

Works just as expected, great product, build quality is excellent if that matters (no GPU sag, really good thermal performance, decent noise performance). As you may have read online, one of the most cost efficient 3090s on the market. Pricey though, doesn't give the best bang for buck unless used for semi-professional purposes.

Best price you can pay for a 3090, on par with 3rd party 3080tis, but more memory and speed. Can take on any game you throw at it in 4K. Now in 8k the frame rates dip significantly, even with DLSS on. For mining getting about 123 mH/s, but it gets hot fast. The blower design is horrible. Also recommend replacing pads for increased performance and improved memory junction heat. The lights can be difficult to turn off as well. Sometimes I have to run percisionX multiple times before I can adjust. A little annoying.

Cooling solution has kept the card below 70° under any and all loads in my ATX build. Some cons are that the card can draw upwards of 425Watts, so make sure you’ve got a solid power supply with a good rating. Otherwise, the card can get a little noisy with an aggressive fan curve, but you can solve this by undercolting.

If you were lucky enough to score one of these at MSRP then bravo. Paying anything over MSRP for this card is absurd. Make sure you put on some thermal pads on that back side heat shield to bring down the temps. Its the easiest and best mod you can do to teh card.

I bought this to play Cyberpunk at 4k60 and this card was able to handle it. Pros +One of the best options at the moment for 4k60+ ultra gaming. This was everything I wanted my 2080TI to be when I bought that a couple of years ago. +Quieter than my old RTX 2080TI FE +The triangle light strip on the top side of the card is configurable using Corsair ique software. It works well for me as all my input peripherals are Corsair. Cons -Price is the top. This is the most expensive card I've ever bought. I'm pretending the card didn't pay for itself as mining is not for everyone. -This card is huge. I had to angle it into my microatx for it to fit. I was lucky to get it in there. -Availabilty is near impossible. Since launch of the RTX 3000 series, I was in the market for a 3080. I ended up getting this because the 3080 was so hard to get and I had to expand my desired card bracket to the next tier to better my odds of getting a new card. The experience of trying to procure one of these was at MSRP high effort and stressful.

While these are nigh impossible to get, I was able to get my hands on one and I absolutely love it. The cost is extremely high and in a lot of use cases not worth it, however, if you are in the market for building a gaming/workstation hybrid, you will be hard-pressed to find something better than this.

The card is great. Pricey for the normal gamer but it does the job. Everyone leaving negative reviews is doing because they can't buy it. Yes supply and demand is hard to find but there is a trick. My local bestbuy didn't actually put this out that they had it. You had to drive to the store and ask if it was in.

Fast and powerful card that can handle whatever demands my PC has. Really wanted 3080 for the value to performance but this was the last card available in stock so obviously grabbed it considering how difficult they are to find. Amazing performance in 2k with high FPS. No issues so far.

This is a monster of a card. It’s overkill for almost anything you could even think to throw at it. Games? Hahahahha watch this card barely turn on its fans. 3d cad work? Hold my beer kids, poppas gonna do work. This thing is freakishly large and slick looking too.

thought the price was high compared to 3080 but after the price increases on those and the current shortage it was a good buy. Handles everything I play at max frames on 1440p The thermals are not good I would encourage replacing the thermal paste and pads unless you like the sound of a jet engine

it's a 3090, and it works. The experience of buying an item in BestBuy is much better than the Nvidia website. The card is very heavy, big, and looks solid. I love it, but consider it is using the same GA102 core as 3080, I would recommend my friends with 3080, wait for 3080ti or AMD card. 3090 is too expensive.

Well for one its a miracle I was even able to get this.....props to Best Buy for having the most effective anti-scalper system. As for the card, its a 3090. It maxes out all the VR games I play on a Rift S, and everything I play at 1440p 144hz. Runs mostly quiet as well, Temps hovering around 70C underload.

This is an elite card. I have a RTX 3080 already but I think this one is the real keeper. It’s only 15-20% more performance but whatever, I’ll take it. Also, just like my RTX3080, this runs warmer than non-reference cards and has some coil whine. The temperatures can be lowered with a custom fan curve.

Wow, what a massive card. When I picked this up for the first time I was blown away by how huge and heavy it was, along with the build quality. This is an amazing card for gaming, but even more well suited for workstations for rendering and editing. Amazing card, great price vs the partner cards.

Excellent! A beast of a card! Build quality is impeccable; no sack unlike many other AIB Cards. I wish more people could see what this card is capable of; unfortunately, I am one of the few lucky (chosen) ones ;). Thanks to Bestbuy to keep the product at its original MSRP, unlike other vendors!

It's leaps and bounds greater than anything yet seen from NVIDIA, even compared to previous Titan cards. Not only does it necessitate a power supply of good quality, it has one of the best founders edition cooler designs so far. My only real gripe with is cooling is that the VRAM chips on the back of the card recieve no active cooling whatsoever, meaning if they do receive a continuous load, they will overheat. Overall, it's the best on the market today, and it will do very well in the coming years.

If you want the best card with which to game at 4K with ray tracing, this is the way to go. That being said, it's more than double the price of the 3080, the next card down in the Nvidia line, for around 15% more performance. You'll have to decide for yourself whether that's a worthwhile trade off.
