Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 3090's outstanding performance and excellent GPU, with many praising its efficient cooling and solid build quality. However, some users find the card's high price and large size to be drawbacks. A few also reported experiencing coil whine and noted its high power consumption and substantial weight.

The Nvidia RTX 3090 is a beast. This card and handle any game you can throw at it. its big and beefy so make sure you verify your case measurements. i have a open bench style case so this wasn't an issue. The build quality is top notch as for value the sticker shock is a bit much considering the 3080 in itself is only about 10-20% less performance for about half the cost.

The card has mild coil whine during high FPS (200-300). I play games at 1440p and I am able to play every game so far. The truth if you are buying this card you know what you are getting.

For a creator this is an amazing card, the next tier up on nvidia's list for a creator is almost 2 times the price with the same amount of vram. Although this card can play games, this is not the optimal buy. Also the processors out on the market at the moment hold itself back. Even the Xeon and Threadrippers cant' push this to its max, even in their next gen forms.

This card is a beast in all ways imaginable. You can throw anything at it and it just takes it. I'm not sure how Nvidia manages to make these cards so crazy powerful, but I'm glad they do. If you do not have a gaming case, make sure you see if this fits, though. The packaging is so well thought out and looks like a premium product worth the money.

had to wait in line for hours and hours just to get one. not cool. poorly designed these run extremely hot like 110C on the vram. interestingly the gpu remains cool while only the vram spikes in temps. thank goodness it has a 3 year manufacturer warranty. this card is a terrible value, poorly designed with cheap parts, but it is the best consumer card performance wise out there.

Its a beast of a card but terrible value when you're only gaming. I suggest you get this if you can rather than goin with other AIB 3090's due to its the cheapest but from what I've seen this runs hotter than other cards so if that's important to you then get the other 3090's. Overall its a great card and its cheap considering the GPU market right now.

Camped out at 5:30 AM to get a graphics card. Was about ~110 people back in line. Was hoping for a 3080, but all other cards were taken by then. Runs MSflight simulator @ Ultra Settings on 4K monitor nice and smooth. Not as good performance per $$$ than the 3080 or 3080Ti, but during the GPU shortage, you get what you can.

One of the most powerful graphics cards out there! However, be careful what you buy, you might end of upgrading other parts. Make sure your psu is over 850 watts as this card can use near 400 watts. Make sure you have a gpu holder! This thing is almost 8 pounds! That's twice as heavy as any other gpu and you can damage your gpu without a bracket.

Very powerful card, very cheap thermal pads. The stock thermal pads are only like 1.5 W/mK and need to be replaced with 12+ W/mK to really get the most out of it and avoid VRAM overheating. Unfortunately this means your warranty is voided because they couldn't have spent a couple extra dollars applying the right pads at the factory. I don't as bad thermal throttling like others do with earlier cards, but still hits 110C pretty regularly. Wish I could've got a 3080 instead. SLI is useless on these anyway.

This is a beast. Too much gpu for most people. Purchased during the Gpu/chip shortage mainly because everything else was nearly impossible to get due to bots/resellers/miners. Sharp looking card but would'nt recommend buying unless you actually have a need for a gpu of this caliber.

Great card! A bit overpriced for what it does, but still a beast when it comes to performance. The only problem is availability. Wish NVIDIA had done a better job when it comes to that.

This is the BFGPU. The big cajones. The piece de resistance. For most, the 3080 is more than plenty, once you go past it, you’re hitting deep into the diminishing returns. You’re paying twice the price for ~15% more performance and 2.4x the VRAM. Is that worth it to you? That’s your call. Not like you can buy one anyway…

Looks great, performance is well the best that is currently available. Only downfall is the price and the 12 pin to 8 pin pci power adapter. It would also be nice if the GEFORCE RTX letters had RGB capability as well, it's only white or off. Considering the price premium I don't believe it would've hurt Nvidia to put in RGB for those letters. Also BestBuy's methodology for limited the bot abuse this time around is commendable.

I, along with everyone else, thought I was nuts for spending this much on a 3090. Even for the cheapest one. Really like this card though and it was a much needed upgrade from the 970 I originally had. I have no fan issues and zero complaints on the card. It's a dense beast of a card. Be warned if you have the good fortune to claim one.

760 FPS in CSGO and that is not on low settings. The only advice I have is to make sure you seat it well in your motherboard. It was hard to gage due to it's size. Wouldn't go to bios at first and I reseated it and it has been everything I was hoping. 3090FE 5950x Asus Hero VIII 32gb gskill cl16 Be Quiet 500dx Zowie 240hz 27" Cooler master 360mm

BestBuy checkout system is so much better than any other retailers With that said, should you buy a RTX 3090 in this day and age.. well, it is a beast of a card, and while its double the price of RTX 3080, whats really great about this card is the increased memory. honest opinion, if you get your hands on this card, you can't go wrong.
