Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 3090's outstanding performance and excellent GPU, with many praising its efficient cooling and solid build quality. However, some users find the card's high price and large size to be drawbacks. A few also reported experiencing coil whine and noted its high power consumption and substantial weight.

The best GPU with the best price

The best GPU on the market with the best price. I've always liked the FE as the price is reasonable. It's big and heavy but there's a reason for that.

I own both 6900XT reference and this RTX 3090, running on 8K HDMI 2.1 Between the two, this is the card to get if you already spending $1000+. It's driver implementation is simply more polished. Vs, 3080Ti, again with the same argument spend the extra $300 for 12 GB. It is an overkill card for most games, an a 3080/6800XT running 4K is probably a more sensible choice for the upper high end. In terms of installation & requirements: It takes a full 3 slots and requires 25A minimum on your 12V rail. Takes a bit more space power than the 6900XT.

Dreams do come true, and this GPU DOES exist. Super hard to find and the 3090 is obviously overpriced compared to the 3080, but it's a 30 series card. It works great.

    Replace your thermal pads

Very good performance. I replaced the factory thermal pads, which for something this expensive I don't think I should have to do and the ones from the factory should actually work. I mine when I'm not gaming and my VRAM temps went from 98°C and fans at 100% to 84°C with fans remaining mostly inaudible.

I definitely recommend paying a few extra bucks to get the 3090 over the 3080. It’s much better in the long run and works amazing!

Got in line at 3:30am for this bad boy. Well worth the wait. Handles every game I've thrown at it with no issues. Make sure to adjust fan curve.

I was able to buy one after 3 months of waiting on the "please wait" grey button until i got it, it works really well with my 5900x and an 1440p monitor.

Great card for any resolution gaming or mining. No issues. Best Buy is the only place the little guy has a chance to get a GPU at MSRP.

This is an over the top beast of a graphics card. The build quality is beautiful and the packaging is exquisite. The addition of the power adapter is a nice touch.

Best GPU money can buy, this card is massive, make sure your case has the space. 3080 better value for gaming, but this thing is a beast.

Solid choice, If you have the extra money or the BestBuy credit card go for it. Can't go wrong with having it, If you're able to get your hands on it at least.

At MSRP, this card isn't the best price/performance for gaming. But it's a beast for compute and professional work, and a much better value than Titan cards.

It's a great card, but relatively impossible to get. Memory gets hot, but all GDDR6X does with stock thermal pads. 10/10 would buy again if I get lucky.

I mean what can I say, its an absolute unit, runs colder than you'd think and can plow through anything you put in its way. If you want the best get a 3090
