You gamers won't like this, but I got this card for mining and I'm getting hash rates that will completely pay for this card in four months, but I have used it for gaming as well and absolutely nothing slows it down. The Vram does run hot so I suggest getting EVGA's free software Precision One and then you can control all the parameters and it will run as cool as you like.
