Poor memory thermal pads

Awesome, but could be better

This was back in April, when it was easy (still easier to purchase then a Rog Strix 3090). Other then the memory junction getting hot, I love this card. Still, for the money, you would think that the "Founders" of the Founder's edition card would invest in better thermal pads.

Monster card

Amazingly, the card stays cool under load and isn't as loud as I thought it would be. It's a very large card though, so make sure you have room in your case. Have been playing Cyberpunk 2077 with all the graphics settings on ultra and RTX and DLSS on and everything looks incredible.

If you can afford this card, I'd highly recommend it. The 3090 features 10,496 CUDA cores and 328 Tensor cores, it has a base clock of 1.4 GHz boosting to 1.7 GHz, 24 GB of memory and a power draw of 350 Watts. If you can get the 3080TI it wouldn't be too much of a step down either. You are paying for the quality.
