Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 3090's outstanding performance and excellent GPU, with many praising its efficient cooling and solid build quality. However, some users find the card's high price and large size to be drawbacks. A few also reported experiencing coil whine and noted its high power consumption and substantial weight.

Never did I imagine I’d be able to have this much power in my computer. If you can get your hand on one of these mythical beasts, by all means DO IT. it can take anything you throw at it, crunch it up, and spit it out like it’s nothing. Now just to try to get another!

Best card on the market for the price.

Best card on the market at this price point. With the supply chain backed up for at least another 6-9 months this card was an amazing buy. Will have this in my desktop for years. Handles everything I can throw at it. Only con is it runs hot on VRAM and needs a repad.

I hate to buy this most expensive GPU out there, but I sure love it. I would like to buy another one for my other pc but it's not worth the price.

Perfect for Gaming, Should Have Pro Drivers

This is everything you need and more for gaming up to 4k. The only thing I wish this had is professional-level drivers similar to what the Titan cards would receive. This card fills the same role as the titan but should have the optimized drivers for the professional workloads.

I am not disappointed with this card. It can do anything I make it do with ease. It is a bit overpowered for what I do, but its worth it.

It definitely feels like you bought something premium. This thing has some serious weight. lol. If you've got the extra money for gaming, this will definitely do the trick. Otherwise, this makes a lot more sense for more professional, memory intensive applications.

If you manage to get this one you lucked out. Running stock this thing is a little warm and loud but I decided to "undervolt" it and the thing runs cooler and quieter with better performance. I would recommend this 100% The only terrible thing is that scalpers buy this making it hard to get.

Price for performance is decent, but fans are extremely loud when card is under load. Otherwise capable of handling any tasks thrown at it.

Awesome card but heard there is some heating issues if you overclock. A tad expensive compared to other cards as well.

Good GPU for the price. If you plan on mining, you'll likely have to either watercool or void warranty and put in new thermal pads.

Whether your gaming or mining this card is a BEAST. $1500 price tag but this will hold you down for 3-5 years and still hold resale value for sure. I was lucky enough to get it however wish Best Buy did a waitlist with one per Driver license numbers or something.

Good high performing card. My biggest complaint was the coil whine, the fans ran silent, but the coils started yelling when under load.

Only if you liquid cool. Liquid cooling is a must to gain access to the full potential of GDDR6X. For 3090, with a front and active back plate water block you are officially thermal throttle proof and can take advantage of the sweet sweet raw power of this beast.

Amazing. It took forever to get this card. I am so thankful for bestbuys new system even though its still a little glitchy. Before it was impossible to get a graphics card. I was lucky to finally get one! Be patient and don't give up

Obvious Nvidia and a 3090 are going to be good for nearly anything. However, the only negative is the fan layout. When running a two-card configuration through a the Nvidia bridge or lower end for having more than 4 screens you'll run into cooling issues if you don't ensure your getting enough air flow between them. and getting the heat out of the box quickly. where it causes it to recycle hot air through itself.

Fantastic card at its MSRP for mining and gaming alike. Can run too hot if it's run 24/7 for mining however, at which point you would need to add additional cooling to the backplate.

The highly touted 3090. Not much to say here. The best on the market. Got super lucky to get one. Loyal and happy Best Buy customer for over 10 years now. There are more articulate reviews out there so I won’t bore you here. Thank you!
