    big chunky gpu, $1500 down the drain but totally worth it. spent 14 hours for this

    Pretty powerful card but the vram runs pretty hot and will throttle so you will never be able to actually run the card at max performance without modifying it. As others have pointed out the thermal pads are really bad and need to be changed to get the vram to stop over heating so much. otherwise you'll need to run the fans at full force during intense work loads which is really loud. At this price point there shouldn't be a need for a $50 modification. It's probably better to buy a 3080 over a 3090. Price to performance is pretty bad. The card just doesn't seem to be $800 better.

    It is a 3090, you will get used to the games defaulting to max settings pretty quickly.
