The 4070 super is a modification to the original 4070. These modifications included, mainly, an increased power draw (from 200 watts to 220) and increase cuda core counts (5888 vs 7168). This has given the card a roughly 15-20% higher performance in modern games over its non super counter part. This added performance at 600 USD makes it what the 4070 should've been at launch. It is extremely effective in high fps 1080p and 1440p gaming. It is even able to maintain playable frame rates (~60) in many games at 4k though it is not a true 4k card and those looking for a 4k experience should seek out a higher tier card. The 4070 super has proven in tests to trade blows with even the 3090 and that's without considering frame generation. Even in miniature builds without good airflow the founders edition will be able to keep itself cool so that even in extended gaming sessions it will never throttle. Overall a good product that should be considered from new PC builders and those seeking an upgrade over previous generations.

WOW! What an amazing graphics Card! Quiet, FAST, low temp! I create 3D for a living using Maya, Cinema 4D, After Effects, ZBrush, etc. and I also teach. This card is a BEAST! I replaced an old 1080Ti. Due to limited space in my 2017 Alienware Aurora R7 desktop I couldn't fit in the longer cards, but this fits perfectly! And the power draw is really low! SO I ADDED TWO!!! Read my review of the MSI 4070 Super VENTUS 2X I also added! The dual cards don't work for gaming, but 3D rendering takes full advantage of the two cards! I can churn out so much more work now!!

It's called... disinformation (have you heard of it, I'm sure you have), but don't believe them because they are wrong. Very, very bigly wrong if I'm honest, which I am. George Washington may have chopped down the cherry tree, but I didn't and you can believe that. Would I have admitted it if I did? Probably not, but that's because I have a very big brain. The biggest some would say, but that's not for me to say, though it is true, very strongly true, many people have said and are saying. But this GPU (they call it a GPU as I learned from my uncle who was a professor of nuclear science before I surpassed him in knowledge of the nuclear, and the protons and other things like... atoms they call them as you've probably heard) it is powerfully doing the graphics and all the things they do and it's a lot. Many things. They do A LOT, I can tell you that and it's very big. But not too big. The perfect size (like me--the size is not a problem I assure you). When I first showed it to my wife she thought it might be too big, but I assured her that it wasn't, but she was DOUBTFUL, very doubtful if I'm honest. Things were touch and go at first, but that's OK because it fit easily, which she couldn't believe and when I told my wife Melanie that it was in, so she looked but she could really see it because the lighting wasn't good, I guess, but it fit powerfully and strongly I can assure you. Powerfully recommended.

I bought this for a computer I was assembling as a gift. I’m pleased to announce that it handily outperforms my RTX 3080 for literally half the price plus a few bells and whistles that come with the 40 series like DLSS 3! Relative to my 3080 this thing was small. An advantage in my opinion in a day and age of cards not fitting in cases.

Not only is the Nvidia Founders edition of the card beautiful, but the performance is spot on. This is especially true when targeting 1440p resolution. I've not yet found a game this can't handle, especially with DLSS and Frame Gen turned on, and it should be able to for years to come.

10% less performance than a 4080 super but actually obtainable, this thing takes basically whatever I can throw at it, even at ultra wide. Could whine was mostly gone after a very mild under only. Unbelievably quiet fans even at full load. Worth every penny.

Excellent card for the price. Plays most all my games at 2k. Super duper quiet. Maybe the quietest card I've ever owned. Great packaging too. Felt like I was opening a puzzle in The DaVinci Code .

This graphics card is very powerful. There was no game I could find that it could not run max settings at 1440p. The only thing I didn't like was the finish on the card was not great. The geforce logo was very unevenly faded which looked like an issue with the printing. There was also scratches on the finish which I found weird for a brand new card. Other than the finish issues that card does what its supposed to do, fast and efficiently.
