I had to RMA this GPU within the first week of owning it as it was faulty. Nvidia took a month and a half to give me a new one with the whole return process and i had to reach out on multiple occasions for them to speed up the process and to respond to my case as it felt like i was kept in the dark. I had also asked a few questions in email multiple times that the customer support team couldnt andwer and still to this day i have no response. At the end of the day, nvidia sent me a new working GPU within 5 days of them receiving mine that was faulty. So turn around after they send you a label to ship out the GPU is quick but make sure to follow up every couple days as they dont care enough to give you an update. I would only recommend this if you have patience to wait for a new GPU or even take a gamble that you receive a working one. Also comparing this model to the 40 series, i would 100% just save my money and get one instead of paying scalper prices for a 50 series.

Works well for my content creation workflow. The extra media decoders and codec support made this a very easy purchase for me.

With all the other 5080 models being up to 50% more expensive, the founder’s edition is the only one worth buying.

Not sure how to express my frustration regarding a recent package delivery. The package was late by an entire week. Upon arrival at my local FedEx, it was inexplicably reversed and immediately returned to the shipper. I'm not sure whether Nvidia or BestBuy was responsible for this mishap, but I have been eagerly waiting for this card for nearly two weeks. The cancellation came as quite a surprise and has left me feeling very frustrated.

Only minimally better than previous gen in raster and has yet to show its potential with AI fake frames. At least the power usage isn’t that much higher. Subpar performance for a new series upgrade. If you have a 4080 I would look to a 4090 upgrade really or wait for a potential 5080 Ti…

Pretty good no problems yet other than the price. It gets hot.

Got it to work after 2 days. Nvidia dropped the ball on this. After installing the drivers it crash my pc and corrupted my os. Had to reinstall windows and it worked till i placed my windows key in and updated my windows to enterprise started getting black screens 2 out of 3 boots. Only fix was to change my pci-e slot to gen4 in the bios. Its now running well finally. Nvidia needs to get there sht together. AMD used to be nown for bad drivers yet ran a 9070xt for 6 months and not a problem with it. If AMD can make cards as strong as Nvidia ill never buy Nvidia again.

GPU is amazing best buy on the other hand was not. Went to pickup my 5080 FE and the box was previously opened by a Best Buy Employee. Manager was no help in giving a partial refund since it was now considered an open box item to me and not new.

Card is bricked either by the drivers or design. Worked for the first day but was unusable after the next boot with BSOD and constant auto restarts. Using Lian Li 600w cable for PSU.

Worth the price difference from the 5070. If you're considering the 5070ti, I suggest you spend a bit more and go with the 5080

great card for this price point.. waiting to get a 5090 but for now i think this will do

No real improvement from Lovelace and minimal improvements from Ampere. Raster is OK at best, Ray-tracing works well if that's your thing. Worrying amount of driver overhead, would not recommend *AT ALL* on older CPUs. Purchased for my kid's Zen3 build we wait for Novalake or Zen6. Would not recommend purchasing unless you are on Maxwell or earlier (ie GTX1080 Ti) Dubious value overall especially with the likely "Super" refresh coming soon. Purchased with 10% off coupon and MSRP which makes it a bit more palatable. Overall a snooze fest coming from a 6800XT but the kid wanted DLSS ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Very high quality device for what it is which is a LOW bar these days.

Can’t believe Best Buy service are now so horrible. Came to pick up the package today. The package were opened and the item are used. Sticker said to come from return center. Manager at the store said one thing and call in customer service said something else. And no one want to fixed the issue. Paid for a new item and received used open box item.
