Excellent card, runs cool and came well packed. I was surprised at how small it was. The power connector was a little rough to put in - had to be a little forceful - but no issues seen so far.

Fantastic GPU for 1440P gaming. DLSS 4 is a nice feature. Good minimalist design and power draw is good.

This remains the best value, and also, the best looking card this update cycle. Reference cards can be a question mark each year but NVIDIA applied some design improvements this time around with a "Double Flow Through" design. Card runs quiet and cool. There's lighting on the X on top of the card and the GeFORCE RTX lettering at the front. Driver performance has been pretty good post launch. The latest gimmick is Multi Frame Generation; say what you will about it, but it is fun to experiment with. The card fits inside my H6 Flow beautifully. The card does come with a 12VHPWR adapter. I recommend buying PSUs with ATX 3.1 standard for the longer pins.

The Wait was torturous, but I finally got my hands on a 5-series card LOL. Well worth it, I have to say, though the weird downgrade compared to other cards of similar lineage is annoying.

If you’re looking at this card chances are you’ve made peace with the price tag. The build quality is exceptional. Heck, even the way the card comes packaged is great. I am aware of the mixed reviews from many reviewers on social media and elsewhere claiming the 50 series is somewhat lackluster, but in reality every title I run at 1440p the card is flawless and from what I’ve seen even 4k is pretty good as well on most titles (but I don’t personally game at 4k), and this is without frame generation. I upgraded from a 1070, so I was long overdue and the 5080 Founders Edition (FE) didn’t disappoint. I feel the 5080 FE represents a decent value between performance and value, probably more so than any other card released so far in 2025. With 85% of the performance of a 4090, and much less the price, the long and short is, if the card is available, buy it as quickly as possible.

Excellent Card! DLSS is a game changer for AAA titles. Using multi-frame gen is very useful but a word of caution; it does not help with latency in game. Overall happy, and HDR is working on monitor I’ve paired with it. Originally, I had difficulty using AMD GPUs and Nvidia just made everything easy and consistent.

Let me preface this by saying my use case is mostly gaming at 4k. Haven’t had any issues with this card since getting it, I would recommend doing a clean install of the nvidia drivers if you are upgrading. Other than that it’s been rock solid with good temps. Now if you aren’t playing the newest games using dlss and frame gen there are definitely better options but with the way things are going these days getting a card that can make the most of those settings might be the only way to get smooth frame rates.

Super confused by the reviews about all that aside. This thing pumps everything I throw at it, never owned one. This good before just the box itself with the video card is heavier than any gaming laptop. I've ever owned, and this thing is a beast

Runs super fast and looks great. Only downside is availability. Nvidia has the capacity to meet consumer demand, but chose the greedy route of controlled scarcity.

Runs cold, it can be overclocked a lot. U can get substantial perfomance out of this one.

Powerful GPU, handles 4k ultra graphics with ease, even better when over clocked and will only get better with future updates.

Excellent product, look relatively nice and great performance

RTX 5080 is a really powerful and fast graphics card. It makes games look amazing, definitely a great buy.

I was lucky enough to snag this on launch day for msrp. I know there is alot of contriversy with this card not being a big leap over its last series. But my question i had was is it worth it coming from and EVGA FTW3 3080 10GB to this. Let me tell you it absolutly is. I was getting low frame rates and random crashing in even Diablo 4. Now that ive upgraded to this i get 70-120 frames in 4k max settings and ray tracing with no frame gen. There is also apparently a pretty large headroom for overclocking this card to be on par with the RTX 4090. I didnt go that crazy with it but i did use the Nvidia app to scan and do an auto OC. Its given me several more frames on average. Overall absolutly happy with this purchase.

Fast but expensive. Runs fairly cool but be aware the heat will dump into your case. The card is rather tall and the power connector sort of sticks out the top, no way to really do a 90 degree connector so be aware of that too.

Great card, very powerful, very slim compared to AIB cards. Got a decent overclock out of it
