Half the size but twice the fun as my 3090

Speaking of gimmicks, what makes 16 gig vram the default? There could have easily been 24 gigs of vram as the defacto setting for this card and it would be an absolute knock out of the park. But, NVIDIA has a strangle hold on the market with AI. Eventually bad business like this will catch up, but people still buying the new cards. Hoping to run some stress tests and further checkout frame generation on my 144hz 4K panel by Alienware.

So many issues, crashes, black screens, etc

When it works, it is great. Certain games run really well and look beautiful with this card. However, newer games can be a complete nightmare. A ton of driver updates and hotfixes have been released and were still having crashes or black screen freezes with games like Black Wukong, Atomfall. Its also very frustrating to have to disable capabilities so you can get a semi stable experience (turn off DLSS or Ray tracing is the recommendation at times). It might be better to wait until the driver issues get resolved but if youre used to things working out of the box, you might want to hold off on this card.

Open box sold as new

I ordered new online directly from Best Buy but received an open box/used. There was a secondary shipping label for best buys return center still on it. Wild to buy new and get a used item from the only retailer selling Founders Edition cards at full price.
