To be honest this is all you need for high end gaming its 100% the sweet spot, still expensive but its more realistic than spending 2k or more simply for gaming

Deeply flawed but a decent option at MSRP

This is a great graphics card IF you can find one at MSRP, and only because the 4080 super and 4090 are no longer in production. It's a poor value if you are coming from the 4000 series but a great uplift from the 3000 generation.

The 5080 was a much needed upgrade for me, as my 3070 FE was quickly showing its age in newer titles such as Monster Hunter Wilds and even older ones like Cyberpunk.
Multi-frame generation carries these 50 series cards in games that do not need eSports levels of low-latency. It is definitely an enhancement, not a hindrance in GPU progression
While I don't feel like the 16GB of VRAM is crippling the card in any way for the games I have been playing, the 5080 should be a sub $800 card in my eyes because of it.

Good performance, gets hot / overheats some times but not sure if that’s because of my fans or not
