    The 5080 was a much needed upgrade for me, as my 3070 FE was quickly showing its age in newer titles such as Monster Hunter Wilds and even older ones like Cyberpunk. Multi-frame generation carries these 50 series cards in games that do not need eSports levels of low-latency. It is definitely an enhancement, not a hindrance in GPU progression While I don't feel like the 16GB of VRAM is crippling the card in any way for the games I have been playing, the 5080 should be a sub $800 card in my eyes because of it.

    If VRAM is a big concern you may be better off waiting for the 5080ti/super coming out, but otherwise the feature set is great.

    Fast gpu, pretty big upgrade from my 3080 ti. Use for gaming and AI workloads, so far so good. Ordered to pickup, purchased new but was given open box. Not happy with service, but product is good

    Doesnt have enough vram for some 4k games and especially doesnt for VR at decent resolutions

    I felt very little difference if any, between this 5080 and my current 4060ti. Granted I currently have the 32GB version 4060ti that the 5080 does not even offer. If you have a really janky old GPU, sure update (if you can get your hands on this), otherwise not worth it at least for gaming.
