Baby brother of the Pro shield works super nice systemeast to use and setup,,the only problem was how do I hold it in place I donot want a screw holder to mount to my wall other than that it,s great

Good: -system performance -form-factor/size -remote control finder -streams games over GeForce Now (for gamers) Bad: -recent updates from Google and/or NVIDIA made some not-so-family friend stuff pop up at the top of the home screen and can't be easily mitigated or remediated any more (used to be able to uninstall updates for an app to make it go away) -can't easily set an alternative default Android TV launcher without doing some sideloading or rooting (to bypass the stupid home screen ads) -remote battery cover is flimsy and falls off easily -price/value

Best thing since color TV's. No internet restrictions, like apple. The line doubler works well with my 4K TV. So sharp, I count the wrinkles on movie star faces.

Even 3 years after launch in 2019 this thing is speedy. Great apps wish it had history vault so i dont have to cast.from phone

Great for streaming. Setup of this android TV device was seamless after logging into my Google account. Navigation was easy for whole family. Wish we would have done this sooner

We've had this unit a good month now, and it's been our go-to for streaming ever since. Snappy UI, a well designed remote with a find-me function.. the last one is SO needed with two kids. XD

I have the old Shield and I love it as well. The only downside to this version is that its a 32 bit os and the lack of usb. Either way the operations smooth an the ai upscaling is cool.

I have owned many streaming players, from Amazon TV, Amazon Cube, Roku devises, etc... SHIELD TV is the best streaming media player I've ever own. Well worth the money spent.

Bought my first shield over a year and a half ago. Wish I would have known sooner about the shield. This is my second device and I am planning on buying another when the pro is back in stock.

Works great, better than my 4K Amazon FireTV. Love the android store for my apps. Haven't really run into any buffering issues. It also displays a great picture

This is an absolutely fantastic streaming device & easy to set up even at 70 years of age Remote is very comfortable & lights up So many apps to choose from for viewing or gaming

Fast device, easy to use. I love using the nvidia games option to stream my games. Almost no lag at all. I recommend using a Ethernet connection for a blazing fast experience!

I've own the previous generation of Nvidia Shield. It's simply the best streaming media box on the market, and has been for some time now. With this model I did not like the missing usb port.

Love it! Works alot smoother and easier than the firestick. Has more memory plus you can add to it. I think its worth the extra money. Firestick needs to up their game.

Love the new remote! Hands down the best streaming device you can own! No othet device ciens close in performance. Cost more but worth it once you use it.

Android TV with plenty of power and a great remote. Love how you can use RF remote to control older sound systems, or HDMI ARC to control newer sound systems.
