Way better than Apple TV for several reasons! #1 - program the top button to MUTE - yahoooo! Also, I can run my Google Home routines from this remote - yahoooooooooooo!

This was a little more than I expected to pay but the performance is great. Much better than Roku and Fire sticks. Dropped cable and added YouTube TV and Hulu and now I get more channels for less money.

This makes a good travel box. For home use I wish they had an optional base or something. It's fast and still has microsd slot. Picture is great and works well on weaker hotel wifi's.

If you use any type of streaming service, do yourself a favor and get this. Have owned Fire TV box, fire tv cube, and others...this blows it away. This is my 3rd Shield

First thing i noticed was how QUICK this was to move around and see what I was looking for. Been using it for 2 weeks and I am still impressed. It's well worth the price.

We have a Sony TV with Android TV build in, but it was lagging a bit as smart TVs tend to do, so we decided to try a dedicated streamer and chose this so we could get all the apps we were used to using and have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Everything works great, navigation is awesome and the Android TV layout is great. The only issue we had was with Vudu. It will just stop playing and kick back to the home screen. We had this issue when using the Vudu app on our Sony TV as well, so there is something up with Vudu and Android TV. We returned this and got a Roku Ultra. Aside from losing Dolby Vision going with the Roku (can't really tell the difference) we've had no other issues.

Much more freedom to customize what apps and what you want added to the device... not restricted like Roku or the Fire sticks.. easy to install and setup under 30 minutes total time

I only use it for streaming. I tried gaming on it but it was slow and laggy (using att fiber internet via wifi) but later cleared up.

I have tried roku, fire sticks, and chrome cast. Out of all I like this the best. Load time is way quicker between apps. Upscaling picture quality works great.

Nvidia shield is the best tv box that I have had. Better than Roku, Fire tv. It is very smooth and allows user to side load apps. Frequent Android TV updates is another plus.

This product has the power and speed to ditch your cable TV all together! Combined with Dark Media TV And downloading a few streaming apps. No need for Cable "Get Unplugged"

Very fast and way way better than the smart TV all by itself... Way faster than just using my Samsung smart TV... Trust me you'll love it and it has all the Android apps you know...

I bought this and a shield pro at the same time, and would personally go pro. This is a great product but I just wished I had bought 2 two pros rather than one of both.

Works great for IPTV. Streams well and the remote is easy to use. Not a fan of the giant Netflix button that I accidentally hit often, but other than that I love it

The shield is a great setup for streaming love the quality

Use it to stream 4k uncompressed from plex via 1000gb wired ethernet works great. Just need to remember to turn off upscaling while doing this otherwise it freezes.

I had computer attached to projector as some of the stuff wasn’t available on Roku so I replaced both with Shield TV..works great so far but expensive compare to Roku Ultra I got on Sale...

It's like a mini computer for watching television apps. I purchased to get 4k and Disney+ rather than going through just my Vizio P-series. It does the job I was after.
