It's great. The only downside for me, there is no away of the device to turn off completely after going to sleep. So the device goes to sleep mode only, for this reason I gave it four stars otherwise I would gave it 5 stars. There then that the device has been fast responsive. It's great having to connect it straight to a projector. By the way I mostly use the device for streaming.

I had the first gen gaming edition and never used the gaming part, so I bought this one and it's perfect.

One of the best things about this device is the remote it's easy to use and a very comfortable in the hand.

This thing works great. Once you figure out the hacks you can do just about anything with this.

The shield is just as described. The interface is easy to navigate AND THE PROCESSOR IS FAST!!!!

almost 2 months with the shield tv - works pretty good. I've had issues where it is totally unresponsive and I usually just turn it off and turn it back on and it works again. Yes, its one of the more expensive streaming devices but it has its perks. I don't use it for gaming due to bad input lag on a LAN connection of 100mbps, specifically with Steam.

Love this produt. Use it every day. Would recommend that you keep it at optimized.

Have had many other streaming device's but this is by far the best one ever...fast set up ,easy to use.

Great device. I have the Nvidia Shield Pro, and this is a great addition that I added to another TV.

I really like the shield for online streaming but takes a little bit if time learning about all of the settings.

I originally got this to use Nvidia Game Stream, but they announced that they will be discontinuing that feature so there's no point in owning this device if you already have a smart TV. The Device was very buggy as well. I found myself having to manually restart it about once every week or 2. One very annoying "feature" is the Netflix button. I can not tell you how many times that button has been pushed by accident, but I can definetly tell you it's literally never been pushed intentionally... I wish the button didn't exist or was at least some sort of "favorites" button to access your favorite app. All-in-all, the device is just a glorified Roku. The only feature that set it apart from other similar devices was GameStream and that'll be gone soon. Save yourself the headache of this device failing on you and opening Netflix at the worst possible times and just dont buy it.

I have multiple media sticks from various makes and this is my first Nvidia. Compared to the rest, this is a refreshing change. The operating system has a more modern platform look and flows better than the others. I also like the connection of an android assistant. The Shield is a little more pricey than the others but money well spent.

A real powerhouse for cutting the cable. Right out of the box I knew that it was a great choice.
