My only complaint is the tube design.It is very dumb, makes it hard to cable manage and looks ugly with cables coming out both ends. Other than that it is very good at what its supposed to do. This device direct plays almost all Video and Audio from my Plex server. The only time I have noticed it doesn't is videos with "SubStation Alpha" subtitles.

Love the shield. Speed is great. Responsiveness is awesome.

I have the original Nvidia Shield. It was phenomenal. My only issue with that one was everyone’s issue, is with the proprietary plug that fails. That was my only issue. If I could get a new replacement I would still be using that one. So I figured I would try this one. It works well. A lot of the same features as the old one. Runs very warm. Felt I had to turn it off often, even though it has a sleep feature. When it woke up from sleep, a number of times it would be stuck, on a black screen. Had to unplug it from power and plug it back it. I put it on one of my Alexa outlets to just power it off fully. Definitely not like the old one. Disappointing. Using my Apple TV now, but really wish I could get a power adapter for my old Nvidia Shield.

Great product when it works. Apparently theres an issue with some LG tvs not knowing the resolution its sending...(EDID communication issues) that has caused me to have to return it. It was a great product, but after 5 plus hours diagnosing and trying to fix it i have to return it. I may try it again in a few months after LG and Nvidia sort this one out.

Overall, a very nice Android TV device with great streaming options and 4k upscaling on most apps. Note, if you have a newer TV, be sure to reset your display settings to factory default and to turn off any color enhancement or other "premium" display features as these will lead to jittering and stuttering on playback, especially with Netflix. Took me ages to figure this out.

So, the good: a big improvement over any Roku box, Dolby Vision is veeerrrry nice, Android interface is easy to get used to. The meh: this could be for about Hulu or other services l, but several times apps freeze, reload, and audio plays with no video. I have to restart Shield to get my content to play. Happens with Hulu and Vudu. First world problems I guess, right?

Got it in one day. The Shield is the bomb and so is Best Buy!
