If all you want is the best Streaming Device you can get and possible sideload some App not on the Google Store this is the best device you can buy. If you want to play games go with the Pro Model with the extra internal Storage and Additional Ram. But for Streaming on there is never better in this price range today.

It's only 32bits and has 2 GB of RAM. For me, playback was glitchy on occasion and required troubleshooting. I owned both this and the Pro version at the time. The Pro version was flawless. I returned this and paid the extra $50 for a second Pro. Well worth it!

I used this for 2 years before upgrading to the Pro version. I mostly use for plex off of a standalone server. The tube constantly had trouble with higher bitrate 4k media that the pro version does not have. Stutters and freezing with the tube were a normal occurrence on files over 35Mbps. At this price I believe there are better solutions and if you have the money the Pro version is worth the extra money

While the device does perform as needed. In hind sight, I wouldn't purchase again. Lack of USB ports and inability to install apk from unknown sources as it is not true android tv device have been my greatest complaints. Over all decent product. But no value for the price.

This Nvidia streaming device is a great option for someone looking for an alternative to Apple TV or a Roku device. Setup was simple, fast, and overall a pleasant experience. So far I have had no issues with the device and it has been working great.

Overall we have access to streaming and subscription services to watch TV. We haven't used the gaming functionality. The Netflix button is annoying as we often accidentally hit it in the middle of a movie and end up having to jump through hoops to get to what we were watching. Otherwise, it's easy to set up and use. Price was right.

It is very powerful and compact. So far no problems

Originally I was very happy with the Shield. It was snappy and easy to use. I really even liked the odd shape of the remote. It feels great in your hand. However, we ran into a problem with the remote not "waking" when I'd pick it up after extended hours of not being used. I contacted Nvidia a few times and went through various troubleshooting steps only to finally be told that was a feature and that you'd have to hold the home button for 30 seconds in order to wake the remote again. Not sure if that is the truth or not, but it was past the time where I had moved on.

This is my 3rd shield TV device and they are all still being used throughout the house. I got this one when I was tired of messing with a Raspberry Pi that had Android TV installed.

It does what it’s supposed to do in a well looking package. It blends great with any decor. Only drawback is the ads card slot, not easily accessed.
