Had the older generation nvidia shield and it was good. This new model is awesome especially the upscaling. 720P look like 4K

up conversion 1080p movies to 4k is excellent. Multiple things you can do with it. Most powerful streamer out there. Wazal Woozla

We have a Samsung KS8000 from 2016. The built-in Plex app no longer functioned the way I wanted it to. This device is fantastic. Throughout the week this gets used heavily. Mainly use it for Plex, Pluto, and a couple other apps. Eventually I'll get around to playing with the other features. Until then we will continue to enjoy it.

Overall, excellent. Dolby Vision is incredible. System is extremely capable, but Android can be a bit finicky ya know? Some random freezes but overall better than any other streaming platform.

as a software engineer I have tried them all the past few years and nothing comes close with a processing power picture quality and superb support.

Good media player, can run a little hot, so be careful where/how you place it. Helped with frame rate/picture quality on older tv.

This is an interesting device, and it works well. The technology in it is a little older, and I was hoping to enjoy gaming with it, but it just doesn't have the power I needed for that purpose. I was surprised by how small it is. It's very slim, and it connected to our network easily. I felt as though it was a little slow to respond to remote commands, and it wasn't as smooth playing videos as our AppleTV. Not a bad device, but I'm not sure it would be my first choice for streaming either especially given its price point.

Its has better quality pictures and sound. Adjusting to new format system.

Got rid of all the firestick/chromecast, stuff and consolidated to this. Best choice - better experience

I am super impressed with what NVIDIA had made, it is super and I am in totally in love with this product. I have tried all gens of Nvidia and they rock. AI is awesome, it makes a lot of difference on 75" inches TV. I own both pro and the base model. I would recommend buying Pro model, it comes with USB A port, you could connect external storage devices and also we cams. Google duo will be made available on Android TV shortly. If you are looking to buy one... PRO should be the one you should go for. Happy Customer

Works really well. Plug and play. I like the shape of the remote, and the Netflix button is super convenient.

the box is the best purchase i have ever mad, it is very fast and offer functions that were not available to other plateforms

The shield tv pro works pretty smoothly. Much smoother than regular android boxes, but I would like the option for an air mouse on the remote, or the option to add a remote keyboard for searches, etc.

Received quicker than expected and easy to set up. Good product.
