    NVIDIA Shield TV is my choice for streaming and in home gaming. I am not an avid hard core gamer but I play for fun. Nvidia Shield has a wide variety of compatible android apk's and it has enough power and ram to support subscribed media providers HD streaming. AI capable Upscaling to 4K if you have the internet bandwidth for it. It also runs a PLEX Media server at my house backed by a movie filled WD MycloudEx2Ultra NAS.

    That's probably the best media player I've owned, a lot better picture quality than my Amazon Fire TV and Roku streaming player.
