Great streaming device

Great Product

I was using a Tivo Stream 4k and was seeing freeze-ups on certain streaming apps, and would have to stop the apps or even reboot the device to resume. The NVIDIA Shield Pro has worked flawlessly on those same apps. I also like that it has a built-in gigabit ethernet port and two USB ports. Definitely pricey compared to other players but worth it to me for the reliability and stability.

Well I still have all of my favorite streaming apps on the Shield, plus, I’m getting much more Surround options than on the AppleTV. Most content on that was coming through in virtual formats, whereas on the Shield I’m getting Dolby Truehd and DTS Master. Far better experience. You can do tons of things with the sheild. You can plug in ethernet which is key if you intend to use the GeForce Now App
