I was tired of not getting full audio passthrough on my Roku devices. Did some research and found out that the Shield is the only external device that will do passthrough. What a difference its made in the sound in my theater. Absolutely recommend this!

Even 720p content looks great when upscaled to 4K!

This is by far, in my honest opinion, the best streaming media player in the market. Use it as a Plex media server, play AAA video games with Geforce NOW, stream movies/TV shows on many streaming platforms for free, and so much more. You cannot go wrong with this device.

This is the best media player if you require a USB to play 4K video content. The stock Android UI isn’t my favorite. For a every day use I prefer Apple TV. But I use this to play my video content. I have been having issues turning on HDR. But I haven’t dug deep into the issue so I won’t subtract a star.

This is the way streaming should be done! Absolutely pleased with my purchase. Brought one went back and purchased the lessor one. Didn’t like the connections, took it back and got another one of these bad boys! Very responsive no lag at all. I’ve had several devices before but this is the cream of the crop for me!!

It’s a great start for android tv, but the price is on the higher end but doesn’t justify the usage.

I would give this a five-star rating, but I'm still not exactly clear on what the benefits of this are versus a regular Roku. I know that it has additional capabilities, but unless you're going to pursue that angle, you might be better off with a simple Roku. I will say that out of the box that works very well oh, I am very pleased. I'm just not sure at this point of the value for the money.

This one does it all and blows away the competition!

A great device. It accesses my Plex server much faster than my smart tv, provides lots of streaming content, and was easy to connect to my network. I'm not sure I've noticed a lot of video upscaling, but I think it's still a worthwhile add-on to my system.

This Nvidia shield Pro is an excellent product. The ability to upscale all content to 4k is great. Previously, my vizeo 4k tv was only outputting in 720p. Very pleased

This is probably one of the best purchases I've made for my entertainment center. Although I already had Roku built into my TV, I wanted more power and customization for applications like Plex, etc. I'm just satisfied knowing this will last a while and can be hooked up to any TVs in the future.

By far the best Android TV box on the market... priceless!!!

Have had it for about three months so far works good more expensive than fire stick but definitely works better than fire stick. Use it for streaming mostly so far has been good. Use it with TV mate for recording was very easy to add USB to make room for recording.

No streaming box is perfect and I’ve tried them all. I enjoyed the Apple TV for its features and smooth interface but the shield has the features for a home theater enthusiast. I use it for plex and enjoy being able to utilize all of the lossless audio codecs.
