Although I ended up returning this product, is a pretty good one and worth the cost. I would have kept it if it had only converted the signals from 60hz to 30hz to allow 8K intelligent mode upgrade the picture quality from UHD to at least a 4K quality picture as I had anticipated. Oh well.

This is my second purchase of same product, i like this product very much. never felt any delay in UI response and work like charm.

Faster than previous model. Not sure worth the upgrade though.

If you have a smart tv. You don’t need this. If you have a plex server and don’t want to mess with having built your own. Then this is the one for you. It was okay. But I returned it because it was useless to me and it just gave me another remote to keep track of. I mean, if you don’t have a smart tv. This would actually be a great tool.

still the state of art, perfect if you want to set up your own NAS with plex. the game streaming thing somehow worse than before ( I own the first gen shield too), but that's probably due to software issue

I used to use a HTPC (home theater PC) and this thing changed everything I thought I knew... I do strongly suggest you add a RAVPower SSD pro... it beefs it up even more... loving the picture enhancement and Atmos, DTSX capabilities... a must have!!!

There is no better box/platform to use for streaming. Way more customizable and best bench testing out there. A definite future-proof device.

Great and lots of power. At first you might be like, yes this is the same, but soon it will blow you away.

I have been a long time user of Roku. My decision to switch to NVIDIA has been with no regrets. The rich functionality of android TV combined with NVIDIA's audio and video upscaling is the best in the market.

Not alot of improvements over the 2017 model, but nice AI upscale feature, I'm not a gamer so not selling game remote with this isn't that big of a deal, and the new remote is nice having a back light and a few more buttons for menue, play, fast forward and rewind.

Nvidia shield tv is the best Android TV device out there.

bought it for my son. He loves it. I added some apps to playback some movie recordings (Kodi movie playback app is good, but I hear that Plex app is best), I especially like the gigabt/sec ethernet and usb3 connections.

Great upgrade. Remote is bigger and has more capabilities.

Thisbis my third Nvidiaa Shield and inwouldnt buy anything else.

Absolutely love this! I can't say enough how amazing this thing is. From streaming all the shows, the 4k AI upscaling, and how easily it plays games. The only thing is that I wish GeForce Now or Steam was able to stream more resent games.

Good sound and picture quality. Better than Apple TV.
