Went from FireTv to Shield for some apps not offered and havent had any regrets. Certain apps like Plex seem to work a lot better.

hands down the best. year over year still on top plays everything great. connects to google assistant and alexa. you can pair multiple remotes! so me and the wife can have our own. voice commands for search are great. super cool device.

I own the 2017 version and it’s running strong, I don’t regret buying this one too. I love it and it performs really well. I like the controller better than the previous version, mainly because of the batteries are easier to find.

I own three Nvidia shields and I have to tell you you will not be disappointed. Buy it you won't regret it is and exceptional device to stream media.

The Nvidia shield is great box. It has gigabit nic port which most others don't have. The download speed are fast and android OS is my favorite. I recommend this box to anyone streaming and it also doubles as gaming console and Plex server.

Performance is okay. To stream PC games you need an Nvidia subscription that is 30 bucks a month. That is not something they advertise. UI is annoying

Firestick get out the way. This device comes preloaded with the most popular app. And you stay in the driver seat when using this device, unlike firestick who now loads apps you can no longer delete.

Best box out there. No comparison. Great for steaming and IPTV services.

Love this device. Great at streaming and as a plex server... Only thing that's annoying is it doesn't support hdr on YouTube app. (shows hdr on other streaming apps though).

Wonderful media player. I use the Shield to stream all my local blu-ray & 4K blu-ray rips via Plex. Playback is flawless with no buffering in HD, 4K, & HDR and it plays all the object based audios (Dolby ATMOS & DTS-X).

Awesome products, i have one in every room with a TV, use this Box for your apps and let your TV be a TV.... This box allows the TV's processor to focus on video quality and video processing.

Brought as an alternative to my Amazon firestick. It has more memory apps and features.

I can't say enough great things about the NVIDIA Shield. I've used this thing daily since the day I picked it up. I replaced an aging Roku Ultra with this thing and couldn't be happier.

I really enjoy having this item in my device needs.

After a few months of using it I can say this is definitely the best way to go for all of your apps and it can also play pretty much any file from a USB you can think of.

Great device and design. However, I'm having issues with the remote. It doesn't work because the light of the remote is motion sensitive, I assume it drains the remote itself. But the batteries still work because I tested it out on a different remote. I'm not sure how to fix this issue besides taking the batteries off for a few days and then it works. But I have to wait a few days to use this device, because I now have no way of turning it on... :(
