I switched from Fire TV 4K which I initially planned to use with my 500gb hard drive and online streaming. I had to buy external device to connect network cable and hard drive which was nothing but pain. I was not able to play media files, and always had connection issues. Just to give you some perspective, I have a 500gb and 1tb drives connected to my nvidia shield2019 and both are working flawless. The UI is very friendly and no issues watching 4k videos on youtube and netflix. I wish the price was a bit cheaper. Then again you get what you pay for.

Killer little guy. Way better sound produced than the built in streaming app on my vizio. This thing actually works how and when it's supposed to. Was expensive but I don't regret it at all

Excellent picture. Easy to set up. I'm able to control it with universal remote using Flirc into usb port.

Best streaming device I have ever owned. This fixed all of the lagging and buffering problems I was getting using Roku/Firetv sticks.

The picture quality is great and the setup was quick and easy. I also like that this device has 16 GB of storage and plenty of extra features

This is a terrific streaming & gaming monster that's worth the money if you are serious about either of those two! highly recommend it.

Our old firestick became the slowest device ever, decided to replace it with this bad boy. And it has been going strong, apps open fast and it even has a feature to close apps at a tap of a button, no having to going into setting to force close again. Highly recommend

This device is ultra fast, you can changed from one app to another seamlessly. Plus all the streaming services available and gaming. This is a win

Boots up incredibly fast compared to my old Mibox. love how the remote lights up any time you pick it up, and the remote locator is priceless. Has all the audio and video customization options anyone could ever want out of an Android TV box. Initial setup was a breeze. haven't tried playing games on it yet. 4k Streaming looks perfect, and the Dolby Atmos always has me looking around for where that sound just came from. To wrap up, this bad boy is worth every penny, and Best Buy had it here pretty quick.

This is my second purchase of the NVIDIA-SHIELD. The first one (bought just 2 weeks earlier) just stopped working all of a sudden. So, I was quite skeptical with this one. There must have been a defect with the first one, because my experience with #2 is totally different. It has definitely proven it's worth in usability. We use it to mainly to catch local stations in other viewing areas. When connected directly to the WiFi, there is very minimal buffering and the pictures are very clear. I am satisfied.

Nvidia shield is faaast. Pic quality is superb. Price is more then apple but in my opinion worth it. Can hard wire via ethernet. Very ggod for upscaling Netflix.

Best android streaming Device. Much faster than the other Shields.

This is my second purchase of the Shield Pro, this time for a recently purchased Roku TV in a bedroom. Suffice to say that it's a HUGE improvement over the Roku software. It just works and the upscaling is an added bonus.

I think the nvidia shield tv pro is by far the best streaming device out there. I own this and apple tv 4k plus a roku ultra. All are great but the nvidia is so much faster.

My family loves the nvidia shield. Its easy to use and it sure beats paying a cable bill every month of more than $100 so it pays for itself in a couple of months. Would also like thank BESTBUY.COM they have always had what i was looking for and their prices are always great. Except for the ps5 disk version ive been trying for that for several months. I dont blame them for that though. Still havent been able to get 1 yet. Thank you Bestbuy.... You guys are the best.....

This is by far the best streaming device. No lags abd can stream games. It is a great plex player and server. Only thing missing is apple tv.

I don't understand the purpose of gaming on this thing outside of emulators. Streaming play back is great. I have the controller - it pairs fine. I bought it primarily for plex direct paly playback and it's great. I didn't want a fire stick or branded device that was owned by a content provider like Apple TV or Firestick. I was a Roku guy for 10 years - these are amazing. Get the right USB stick for it and expand the storage. Also use the Ethernet port for higher speed. I do recommend the regular version over this one.
